If I had known they worked for him, I would have listened to that faint voice in my head and ran hard and fast. I knew who he was before I arrived in this country. It was important that lone wolves like Hannah and I learned about the hierarchy of the most powerful packs and who not to cross. He came up on the top of the most feared. Not just in the supernatural world. He ruled the underground world too. A deadly combination of guns and claws. It was rumored that he ripped out hearts if a person just took the wrong breath in his direction. Carmine Moreno or as he was known across all factions— The Demon Wolf.

He sighed, quite exhausted. He walked towards the pink jug on the floor, "They are not as smart as we thought " he smiled. "This is the exact apartment we visited. This is a proof " He said, pointing to the wet, dusty, rug. "Okay, we have a jug. Is that enough proof? Can we present that in court? "Diana wailed. "I'm beginning to get tired of this case. No lead! We have absolutely nothing!. We kept on moving in circles ".

It's just as fresh as if she just did it. I was trying to drift to sleep when her bird kept perching at my window. I stood up and opened the window. The creature recoiled, but before it could retaliate, Amelia chanted an incantation, casting a binding spell that restricted the demon's movements. Though weakened, the demon fought back ferociously, thrashing its limbs and attempting to break free. Edna, armed with her trusty silver dagger, slashed at the demon's tendons, weakening its attacks further. Together, they managed to subdue the creature, but the battle had taken its toll. As the room filled with the stench of burning flesh, the third demon revealed itself. It was a cunning and agile entity, with eyes that gleamed with a sadistic pleasure.

She explained, and I asked “So what ???” I asked “This can only kill one demon maybe your choice is Dimitri Black, then why don't you kill him on your own... why me ???” “ Because I can't go near him and if I will try his evil powers will warn him of danger and I will get caught... But you can do it because he can't even think that this silver knife can be with you.” With that, she explained everything and gave me that magical weapon, I got some confidence and I hid it immediately... Before I could say anything more, out of nowhere she blew air to me and I felt my eyes heavy.... then fell asleep...

“An Adjudicator as witness is as strong as a contract written down.” “Not if an actual written and signed document already exists.” Ruben scowled. “He actually went that far?” “Yes he did.” “But demon contracts are written in blood and promise your life to the demon realm?” “Yes, they are and yes they do.” Kat twisted her mouth sardonically. “Shit...I’m sorry, baby girl.” “You shouldn’t have gagged me.” Kat looked away. He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Who is the demon? Me? What is a demon by the way? Then when I got dressed I went out of the room and went to the kitchen, I saw a knife fall to the floor so I took it but I immediately let it go and closed my eyes because I saw something in my mind again. I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

“Maybe try opening a Demon portal and bring in more Demons.” “That’s enough!”
