Demon Slayer Lower Moons Novels & Stories

The night of the third year's autumn solstice, Lucian stands on the rebuilt eastern wall of Drevalon's outer fortification and watches the twin moons rise. They are both present tonight, the actual moon and the phenomenon that appeared first during the curse and has not fully resolved since, the second light sitting in the sky's eastern quarter with the diffuse quality of something that is not quite celestial and not quite earthly and has found a permanent residence in the space between. The seers call it the Shadow Moon. The wolves call it the Direwolf's Eye. The vampires call it Thornhaven's Watch. The name it carries depends entirely on who is looking at it, which feels accurate.

What if he doesn’t know for sure? I’ve been unlucky my whole life. “Being born under a Black Moon makes you someone who’s fierce and has the power to change the world. Now, that change doesn’t always have to be bad, but it can be. It all depends on what you’re going to do with your life. Your intention. If you decide that you want to dedicate your life to being good, then why should that be a bad thing? I’m not saying that it’s not something difficult to handle, but being born under such a moon can be rewarding.”

Covered in blood and a vicious murderous aura, he walked up to me and leaned down to stare at me with a fierce gaze, "Don't try to challenge me by running away. My patience with you is limited." Don't you think she looks a lot like you when you were a child? I saw the look in her eyes and I'm sure she won't always be the weak one! And she's the MATE Moon Goddess chose for you! How can you let her stay here as a slave to be bullied by those people at will? My heart pumped up. My wolf's words touched me. The eyes of that slave, her eyes did remind me of my still weak infancy.

Recognizing her vulnerability and potential for redemption, Andrea, Jax, and Rachel offered her a chance to join forces and make amends. Together, they formed an unlikely alliance, combining their unique skills and abilities to infiltrate the coven's lair. The battles were fierce, with magic crackling in the air and the clash of fangs and claws echoing through the underground chambers. Andrea's powers as the Moon Goddess Descendant proved invaluable, as she channeled the energy of the moon to protect her loved ones and defeat their enemies.

As the lower Demon extends his claws, he is suddenly screaming himself before he turns into a fiery smoke and disappears. However, before Yasmine can move and get to her feet, the lower Demon was replaced by an even bigger Demon. The general that was overseeing this section of the war could feel the increased pleasure of that one particular lower Demon and went to join the fun until he saw exactly who the lower Demon had in his claws.

The face is familiar… But it’s not my face. It’s the face of Nora Moonblood, Luna of the Moonblood pack. Her beauty is ethereal, with high cheekbones, piercing silver eyes, and cascading silver hair that shimmers in the light. My hands tremble as I touch my reflection, the cool glass grounding me in a reality I can’t comprehend. The memories of my death flood back—Cain’s betrayal, Claire’s cruelty, the loss of my pup. My knees buckle, but I catch myself on the edge of the mirror. The pups' voices call out behind me, their worry evident, but I can’t turn around.

But she quickly returned to reality. A feeling of unease emerged in her heart for the first time. Since the marsh abruptly disappeared and the surroundings ceased shifting. Her legs began to feel damp as the hard ground beneath her feet softened, and the dark sky was replaced by a clear blue one. The peculiarity was that there was a huge moon hanging in the sky instead of a sun. Everything changed in an instant. Domains were difficult to control because they required large amounts of mana to activate. Even more so when one hasn't reached the pinnacle of A-rank, and both Dior and Alfred understood that this demon was far from achieving the pinnacle of A-rank.

He hovers over the eastern district. Selavane, the Dark Moon, is barely visible—a shape of darkness so absolute it seems to absorb the morning light. She positions herself above the western quarter. And the others—Rhazkar burning like a sun, Nylora flowing like living water, Thrym crackling with storm energy, Myrien towering like an ancient tree—they surround the city in a perfect circle.

“Your fear opened the first gate. Your anger pinned the tracker. That means your blood is awake.” “I don’t want this,” I whispered. Dax’s gaze sharpened. “Wanting has nothing to do with prophecy.” He reached into his coat and pulled out something small wrapped in leather. He opened it and revealed a thin sliver of pale metal—Moon-silver—etched with the same split crescent. My throat tightened. “Where did you get that?” “From a cage,” he said. “From someone who didn’t make it out.” He set the sliver beside the circle. “If you step into the Hearth, you can pull the bond like a rope. You can draw him through.”

“She was sent here by our Goddess Selene and the Dragon God Typhon to keep an eye on me.” My mother’s eyes roamed over Demi’s body. I know what she’s thinking, Demi looks nothing like a warrior of the Gods right now. Regardless of my mother’s questioning, she still found her manners and greeted Demi the way a true Luna Queen would. Stepping closer, my mother gently hugged Demi, then leaned back taking her hand in hers.
