Raymond exhaled slowly, pinching the bridge of his nose. “So your first instinct was to attack me?”
I bit my lip, looking down at the figurine on the floor. “…Technically, yes.”
He sighed, stepping past me and heading toward the couch. “Great. Just kill me with the Gun, to get faster result”
I followed after him, my guilt kicking in. “Wait, let me see,” I said, reaching up to touch his forehead.
He stood up again and walked into the kitchen. I followed Raymond into the kitchen, watching as he grabbed a bag of frozen peas from the freezer and tossed it to me.
