Despicable Me Gru's Mom Novels & Stories

My cheek was stinging with pain, and my ear was ringing. The durian rolled out of my hand and fell to the floor. I covered my face and stared at the woman who had given birth to me, Rosemary. She had slapped me with all her strength. I could even taste blood at the corner of my mouth. My voice trembled as I asked, “Mom, what did you do that for?” I had moved out to avoid disturbing my sister-in-law, Lily, during her pregnancy.

Kaden looped his arm through my mom's and shot me a smug look. "Want to know the truth? Mom bought this house five years ago for me. She was just waiting for you to pay off the mortgage so she could transfer it to me. We're not here to ask. We're here to tell you." I looked at my mom in disbelief. "Is that true? Was this whole thing just you manipulating me from the start?"

However, I became increasingly excited even as my consciousness began to fade. I was going to see Dad soon. Unfortunately, my happiness was cut short when I heard someone calling my name. The person unlocked the cage and saved me. When I could breathe again, I looked up and saw a pair of panicked eyes. "Mom," I blurted out subconsciously. I immediately regretted calling out to her. The panic in Gloria Yates' eyes was replaced by disdain when she heard me. "Don't call me that," she snapped. "You don't deserve to call me that."

Her cheeks are tainted with an endless supply of tears as she sobbed her way inside the Mansion. Her resembling features do not keep it a mystery that she is Huine’s biological mother. Only she is much louder and more expressive than more than two-hundred and twenty-six Huine combined. ‘These bastards!’ She hiccups, pointing at us. ‘Son of Bachelor’s. Look at my pup’s state! These monsters.’ ‘I am sure my parents were married before they conceived me.’ Gustu deadpans in a barely audible voice, folding his arms to the chest in his signature pose.

Irritated, Barbara slapped him and said, "Why are you crying? No one died in this house." The five or six-year-old Jerry Miller cried and said sadly, "Mom is mean, Mom is a witch. I don't like Mom anymore!" Barbara, already in a bad mood, was even more angered by her son's public mockery, making her want to slap him again. The mother and son created a chaotic scene in the living room. Madam Martínez had a displeased expression and said calmly, "Haley, after signing the contract, come to my study with me."

She dove under the bed, shaking and refusing to come out. Grace tugged at her and tried to coax her, but she wouldn't budge. Finally, Grace tried to say patiently, "Mom… I'm your daughter, Grace Perkins. That is your ungrateful daughter, Hope Perkins." But this time, nothing worked. Mom somehow summoned all of her strength, shoved Grace to the floor, and screamed, "Get out! I don't know any Hope or Grace! I only have two daughters, and they're Hunter and Gunnar!" Those screaming words left Grace's mind blank. She froze, staring at me and Mom. Then, her lips trembled as she tried to speak.

“Get one thing straight, Kiara. There might have been a time when I persuaded my son to give you a chance but now… I don’t even want to see your face… Kevin deserves someone better than you… Just get the hell out of my house…” Her words sliced through my heart like a knife. I didn’t want to argue with mom. So, I jumped straight to the point, “I am sorry mother… but you can’t tell me to leave. Let me remind you that Kevin put 50% of all his property under my name. So, I can stay here for as long as I want…” Without waiting for a reply, I grasped Dr. Grimson’s hand and took him straight to my room. “How do you know these monsters?” Dr. Grimson asked the moment we were alone…

she snapped. “ This is my house ….” I breathed in slowly, but my mom stood up before I even reacted. “You will not disrespect my daughter in her own house,” my mom . “Lower your voice.” Damon’s mother scoffed and turned to Damon. “You told me you were only her lawyer. Is this part of your legal duty now?” Before I could even form a reply, Gracie added with the most irritating laugh, “Please, Elizabeth. These two must be fucking each other already, don’t forget she’s a cheap whore “

“Fine! If you say so. I will trust you.” Grace took her mother to her room and made her sit on the bed and then sat beside her. She quickly hugged her and started sobbing. “I am so glad to see you, Mom. I never thought that that monster would let me see everyone.” “Grace, don’t say that about your husband.”, Her mother scolded her, and Grace's eyes widened in shock wondering was she really her mom? For a while, she ignored that comment. “I missed you so much.” “I missed you too, Grace.”

I was prepping the ceremonial cloak for our seventh mating anniversary. The front door suddenly banged open. My son rushed inside, tears streaming down his face. "The teacher yelled at me," he sobbed. He shoved the wrinkled drawing into my hands before burying his face in my shirt. I smoothed out the paper to see what the drama was about. It was a sketch of a faceless woman titled: The Substitute Mom. My heart stopped as I read the scribbles underneath. "Daddy said she is the backup."
