All instinct. "Don't see anyone," Grim sent, his voice growled words into shapes, "But... something has been here..." My spine went cold. "What did you smell?" I sent back, my eyes glued to the screen as I watched him prowl out of frame. A pause. Then his answer came blunt and certain. "Decay. Death." My jaw clenched. My hands curled into fists at my side. I looked to Savannah. I didn't want to alarm her, but I also didn't want to lie.

“Benny? What the hell? And who’s this asshole?” Benny laughs and nods at the white guy, who hikes his pants up, spits at the gravel, and says, “Detective Grolnic at your service. Lucky thing we caught you and gave you a hand up. Maybe you should take your smoke breaks on the street, Landry.”

He swiftly dropped everything and answered the call, his voice filled with both relief and concern. "Father, it's good to hear from you," Liam greeted warmly, grateful for the familiar voice on the other end of the line. They exchanged pleasantries and caught up briefly on their lives before the conversation took a more serious turn. Liam's father began discussing the recent wave of murders targeting drug dealers across New York City. The perpetrators were ruthless, showing no mercy, and what made it even more unsettling was the fact that the mastermind behind these killings remained elusive, with an unknown face. However, one thing was clear – the mysterious man wanted Liam dead.

Whatever that thing was, but how were they connected? My visions of Grisha were painful, they were draining, and they were chilling. But my vision of the burning bird was calm, peaceful, and utterly soul-fetching. But why did it scream Grisha? Because I heard it, I heard it loud and clear and I knew it screamed Grisha! "Lady Summers, I'll be taking all the credit for this one," a voice suddenly cut through the darkness, startling them both.

She screams trying to pull her way out of the strecher but I swoop in and still her firmly. “I'm detective Griffin. And I'm here to help you, if you help me.”

I let out a sharp laugh, yanked out my badge, and tossed it into a passing garbage truck. On a giant screen nearby, breaking news flashed: a charred body found in the suburbs. The victim's ID was shocking. I just arched a brow and kept walking. Starting now, I'm done being a cop. Let's see how the city's golden detective survives without me.

The call that I have been dreadfully been waiting to get since last night. “Miss Lindy.” He greeted. “Detective, is there any news?” “We did find Griffin. He is residing in an abandoned house around Holmes Drive.” “That’s good news! Did you catch him?” I asked right away with a smile on my face. “We are still working on the warrant of arrest. Don’t worry, we are doing the best we can to catch him as soon as possible and we are following him to make sure we won’t lose our sight on this fugitive.” He reassured me and I begin to feel hopeful because Griffin is now found.

It was replaced by something I hadn't felt in long enough that I almost didn't recognize it. Something that felt like being on the right side of things for the first time. "Grimes will never get away with his crimes this time. It is done for good."

The three suspects that aim to Grace's no lies had a record of ravishment and sex trafficking that they were freed before. The first one fit the introduction but our man wears a tattoo on his arm and a blotch on his chest. Our second one yet fits bgrowsrow a trimmed yard on his chin and the last suspect changed a bit to our introduction which he gains blubber. "You beg again to Grace tomorrow while I do some traces in our scene and their signatures, alright?" She tells in a cool tone and then I gave her a nod. "Take some rest Detective, Good night" I fled after I lend her a pat on the shoulder. I checked the time and the watch tells me I'd overpassed the curfew or ten's presence.
