Fake vs Fated

Fake vs Fated

“My dear, you sound so worried. Come have some calming tea with me and we can discuss what is bothering you.” Amity walks with Vixen back to her and her mate’s cabin. Amity smiles as Vixen waves her hand as they enter, making all the windows open and the kettle on the stove started to heat. Vixen leads Amity over to her sitting area, and they waited for the tea. As they sit, Vixen says, “So, my dear, what is your problem?” “Have you ever heard of a witch by the name of Devi Everbleed?”

Claimed By The Devil Alpha

Claimed By The Devil Alpha

If he had saved me yesterday, I wondered what would have happened to me. “Angel? Trust me, I am no Angel but rather the Devil himself. And with the Devil, always comes a price for every help.” The Stranger said in a chilly voice that made fear strike into my heart. There is something about this man that makes me feel that he is far more dangerous than Mr Agabus. “What do you want?.” I asked him in a calm voice. “To be my wife!..” I heard him say. Although I am not sure if I heard right.

OWING THE DEVIL

OWING THE DEVIL

There has to be something else. But then, what else was there to figure out? My mother’s face popped in my head. Tired, breaking quietly when she thought I wasn’t looking. And just like that, the option disappeared. I kept walking. Because apparently, this was who I was now. A girl who walked into a devil’s house at six in the morning and called it strategy. Gideon Vale stood at the top of the steps like he had been carved into that spot. Like movement was something he only did when necessary.

THE DEVIL'S WIFE

THE DEVIL'S WIFE

HAUTEA'S POV She was twenty-six, maybe twenty-seven, with the specific look of someone who had dressed carefully to appear as though they hadn’t. She was standing at the building entrance at eight fifteen AM when I came back from my morning run, still warm and loose-limbed, earbuds dangling around my neck. A woman stepped forward. “Are you Hautea Sinclair?” “Sinclair-Javier,” I said, keeping my breathing even. “Yes.” “My name is Jess Calder.” She said it with the steadiness of someone who had practiced the words. “I need to talk to you about Drake.”

Dear Devil

Dear Devil

Wolves collided with the shadows of those wings, thrown across the room as blood and instant death erupted. Vivica froze, eyes wide, her chest rising as she watched the devil himself descend upon them. The dark blue aura surrounding him pressed against her burning skin, sending a thrill along her heated skin, and desire, through her. All the rumors about him turned out to be true. He was the Devil. The real Devil. Finn stepped forward deliberately, each movement slow, lethal, deliberate. He stopped just in front of her, the room now deathly silent except for the beat of her pulsing heat.

Because from her conversation, he sensed some kind of hostility from her against the military. At his gesture, she started speaking, "Senior Creed, The ones who ascend from First Glitch get the title of 'Sacred'. The ones that ascend from Second Glitch get the title of 'Ethereal'. The ones that ascend from Third Glitch get the title of 'Demi-God'". And finally, the ones that ascend from Fourth Glitch: 'Satya-Lok' receive the title of 'Apaurushya' or 'God'."

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.

I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.

The Supernaturals

The Supernaturals

Angelina read to them and stopped to catch her breath a little. "The four gods really do cause a lot of chaos back then". Susannah said and Mrs. Angelina continued reading. "Devoe can only attack during the day, and that can only happen if he finds a divine soul to possess which will probably be the beginning of doom. If Devoe can overcome the host and they become one body, the divine soul is gone forever and Devoe will have the power to fight both during the day and during the night. His hand must not get to this book". Mrs . Angelina read and stopped. Eddie flipped to the next page and saw the image of a huge beast with two heads, seven tails.

Deal with the devil.

Deal with the devil.

“What do you want from here, Pyro?” “Wow, right to the point. I’m looking for this girl right here that I found out by one of the females here that she’s going by the name Angel here.” I looked at the picture to see that indeed it was Angel, but why is he looking for her. “What do you want with her?” “She’s the property of the Burning Devils, and I want her back right now or things are going to get hot in here.” I looked to Levi to single to him that I need to speak to him alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Maniratnam’s 'The City of Devi' is this wild, chaotic ride through a near-future Mumbai on the brink of nuclear war. The protagonist, Sarita, is searching for her missing husband while the city descends into religious riots and paranoia. What hooked me was how it blends this apocalyptic tension with dark humor—like, imagine Bollywood melodrama meets dystopian satire. The way it tackles Hindu-Muslim tensions through surreal, almost magical realism lenses is gutsy. I couldn’t put it down because it’s so visceral—you feel the heat, the fear, the absurdity. And that ending? No spoilers, but it’s the kind that lingers like a punch to the gut.

What’s fascinating is how it subverts tropes. The ‘chosen one’ narrative gets twisted into something deeply human, flawed. The side characters—like the flamboyant vigilante Jaffar—steal scenes with their messy humanity. It’s not just about survival; it’s about love and identity unraveling under pressure. If you dig books like 'The White Tiger' but wish they had more mythological audacity, this one’s your jam.
