"Yes human I am your master, your master" “Scream my name, mortal,” he hissed out. The demons that writhed and roiled around them drew closer, inching up the altar. Adom smiled as he lifted one of Win legs. The young man’s eyes went wide as Adom let his jaw all but unhinge as he buried his face into Win hole. He let the oily slick of his saliva gush forward onto and into Win as his tongue pierced the angel.

Alex chuckled, “His name is Dante Giordano.” I turned to him, my jaw dropping in disbelief. “Dante Giordano? As in… the leader of the Tiger Fangs gang?” The most notorious ruthless mafia syndicate in probably the world. Dante was known to be ruthless in his dealings which earned him the name ‘The Devil’. Alex simply nodded. A low whistle escaped my lips. “You sneaky bastard. Who would have thought the good boy you pretend to be would be friends with the devil himself?” “We met by chance,” Alex said, his gaze fixed on the road. “And Dante owes me a favour.”

I explained, “Meaning he’s new in the game?” “Not really. He’s been in the game for quite some time now.” If Leonardo knew Vernero and Alexander, it means he was old news. “So what has he been up to?” “Do you know the D’yavol?” The Devil. I had been shocked to death when I read the news about them. I never thought people could be so evil. No wonder they named themselves. “I do. Kirril. He’s Russian and was killed by Damir under our command.” I knew that too. Which was one of the reasons why I respected Melody.

She looks around, completely unfazed by the thirty or so huge, jacked bikers surrounding her. “I’m looking for a… Damon Montague,” she says, checking a small slip of paper. My eyebrows shoot up, and I glance at Devil, who’s now glaring at the girl. “The fuck you want with him?” he growls. His voice is threatening, but the girl couldn’t care less. “None of your fucking business,” she says, matching his tone. Damn. Girl’s got balls. Devil has a nasty rep... almost as bad as mine. His name wasn’t given to him for fun. The methods he uses for killing or ‘talking’ aren't jokes.

He turns the stairs wondering if Christian will run down to sit beside his now awake sister but after a few seconds he reclines more to the thought that he might be sleeping. He turns to them again and then nods to acknowledge Laurel as she gulps, nodding back…soft but acknowledging. He opts to sit beside Gabriel, now facing the family with a questionary eye. The devil and the healer. Feels like judgment day. “Hi, Laurel, do you know who I am?” he leans forward after getting a reassuring nod from Gabriel. Laurel nods.

How dare they let their voice reach outside the room? “You both have guts to talk sh*t behind my back, hm?” he coldly said, ignoring the shock as if a dirt in their faces. He smiled, not reaching his eyes, a warning to their inappropriate display in a sacred golden room, “You're ignorance to even secured the place for damn talk-shit is what's make you both a powerless. Bare in mind, you're not the devil here, it's me!” He looked at the young man, a very man of Denever who immediately recover from shock.

He was joined by the physician from the main palace. As soon as they removed the last needles from her elbow, she opened her eyes slowly. Lydia weeped for joy as she gave her water to drink. Heavy footsteps were heard in the corridor. The door was pushed open at once and she saw, the Devil.

Emine, the Devil Queen, observed him intently, her gaze fixated on the files strewn across his desk. "Let me formally introduce myself. I am Emine, the enigmatic Devil Queen.
