The Man I Was Meant to Hate

The Man I Was Meant to Hate

Cassian continues, “Ava is worth far more alive than dead… at least for now.” “Cassian,” I say slowly, “if you touch her—” “What?” he laughs. “You’ll kill me? Oh, Liam. You should know by now… you can’t kill the devil.” “You’re not the devil,” I spit. “You’re just another coward hiding in the dark.” He stops laughing. The room goes deadly still. Then, a soft click echoes overhead. The lights begin to flicker, one by one. Not turning on fully… just enough to illuminate shapes. Shadows. Movement.

* thunder* it started heavily raining the full moon was shining in all her splendor Celea put her fingertips on both sides of his head and her thumbs on his forehead " Let's end our misery father shall we?" Celea gave him a smile and looked up there was golden light coming out off her eyes and mouth the light was so strong it went to the sky soon enough the same light came out of the devil's eyes and mouth, the golden light than changed colors from gold to silvery white first on Celea than on the devil the light than covered their body's till they were no more, where their bodys once stood, stood now a beautiful tree, the tree was white with glitter it's branches falling down to the ground

The Devil's Broken Doll

The Devil's Broken Doll

The darkness between the trunks thickened, gathering itself, lines of shadow sliding together like spilled ink drawn to a single point. Something moved in the dark. Something large. Something fluid. Something powerful. A silhouette stepped out from between the pines. A shadow at first—tall, impossibly tall. Then two eyes opened in the darkness. Burning. Molten. A shade between gold and fire. They cut through the night like twin brands, sharpening everything around them; every breath, every tremor, every heartbeat in the clearing seemed to rearrange itself around that gaze. The Devil had arrived. And every instinct Adelaide possessed screamed one truth:

Light And Night

Light And Night

The Starlight members consist of professional members who have been rigorously trained. It was seen that the only girl who became a member of Starlight was only Lux Charlisa. Although, she is a girl. However, people respected her and greatly admired her. She is a strong and intelligent girl, unlike other girls. Lux had always managed to complete her missions successfully, without failure. Devil's Heart

Devil's Heart

The Earl shrieked in wonder, "You call her a maiden! She is no maiden. She's a thief! A mercenary, unbelievable thief!" He continued barking while he walked backwards away from them, "She handed her drink to the Earl of Vetcom, said things too daring for any normal Scottish woman and stole food. You would not call such person a mai…" He found himself staggering suddenly, noticing he was just at the edge of a ditch, one he didn't notice because he was too busy shouting. While he found himself falling into it, a hand quickly gripped around his hard and tight. Gently, that same hand pulled him up, straight back to his balance. And it was the devil herself.

Contract with the Devil

Contract with the Devil

“He looks so much better by your side than mine. Not to mention I noticed his eyes on you, sister.” Mia shook her head. Her sister was reading things incorrectly. He was not looking at Mia with romantic eyes, rather, with malice because he was the Devil and she, Mia Chapman, owed him. “Lily, you're wrong. He asked for you and I must say he was a little annoyed that I showed up alone.” Lily frowned. “Did he complain rudely?” she asked calmly and Mia realized that maybe she had made a mistake. She couldn't influence Lily in any way or she would be in trouble with the Devil.

The Light To His Darkness

The Light To His Darkness

It could have been a trick of the light or something. "Say something, Luna!" Little tears dropped from his eyes, his beautiful eyes but I couldn't see past the hate. Something was wrong but I was too drowsy to think clearly or offer my mate a reply. At last, I was pulled into darkness and the sounds around me slowly waned. The last thing I heard was Asher calling me the pet name he gave to me. Deliciae.

Faking the Mate Bond

Faking the Mate Bond

“I don’t know why. All I know is — claiming you feel right.” “Even when I don’t want you?” He nodded, blankly lost in my eyes, “even when you don’t want me.” “So, you are willing to mark me without my consent?” Devon clenched his jaws, lowering his gaze, he nodded slightly. “That’s the right thing to do. To stop the devil, sometimes light needs to travel through the darkest oceans,” I heard a voice from behind me. I glanced over my shoulder just to see Kazeal walking close to me from behind.

I LOVE this book so much! It was a great start, then it had a huge twist that I thought at first I wasn’t going to like, but it was soooo good! I couldn’t put it down and read it in like 3 days up until it’s close to the end as it’s not quite finished. It’s well worth the read!!

CLAIMED BY THE DEVIL

CLAIMED BY THE DEVIL

”Nice flowers.” Wendy commended as soon as Rebecca entered the room. Rebecca on the other hand didn’t pay attention to what was said. She was lost in a world of her own thought. She didn’t see the face of the biker, but from the sound of his voice, she could tell who it was. It was a voice she would recognize anytime, any day. The voice of the devil who haunts her in her dream. A pat on the shoulder brought her back to reality. She jerked and the flower slipped from her hands, but Wendy caught it before it could fall to the floor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Devils Night always gives me this eerie yet fascinating vibe—it's like Halloween's darker, more chaotic cousin. Traditionally, it's known as the night before Halloween, where mischief and minor crimes spike, especially in places like Detroit. Some say it started as a way for young people to blow off steam, but over time, it turned into something more destructive. I remember reading about how communities now organize 'Angel's Night' patrols to curb the chaos, which shows how cultural traditions can evolve.

What really intrigues me is how media portrays it—like in 'The Crow,' where it's this grim, almost mythical backdrop for revenge. It makes me wonder if the night's reputation is more about urban legends than reality. Still, there's something undeniably compelling about a holiday that walks the line between fun and anarchy.
