Devil May Cry Dante Novels & Stories

“And the Devil delivered. Now I don’t know if I summoned protection… or damnation.” The bathroom door suddenly opens, dragging me out of my thoughts. I seal my mouth shut, hoping he didn’t hear that. I don’t look at first. I already know what I’ll see. Steam rolls into the hallway, curling like fog, and then— His footsteps. Dante walks out like a goddamn wet dream and nightmare stitched into one body. Just a towel slung low on his hips. Wet strands of black hair slicked back, water gliding down his chest in slow, lazy drips. Every muscle in his torso flexes as he leans against the counter beside me like this is the most normal night ever.

“Oh, please, Vestra! I’m not daft. I saw everything.” “Yes, you saw everything. But what we see sometimes might not be real.” She paused for a few seconds before continuing, “Dante is trying so hard to make people believe he’s a devil, but he’s not. Circumstances turned him into that. He’s a victim of cruelty and trauma. You should understand him better than anyone else.”

The man screamed loudly as it dug into his tongue, creating an hole so visible. The other stared in terror, fear gripping him. "Who sent you?" He asked, yet again. He didn't raise his voice... He didn't need to because he already owned that aura of a man so scary... A Devil in a human form. "I don't know I swear.. Please" The men cried out in desperation. Dante let out a scary laughter. "Please? You have the guts to say the word please? A woman was just saying that word to you few minutes ago yet you were hitting on her" He half yelled, his eyes turning completely red..

The child can already wield the Rift. The child could command the dead and the living. His memory twists, showing him stumbling into a gate of black smoke, whispering the words that will doom them all: “The Devil’s heir is coming.” He falls unconscious. ⸻ Back in Aunt Dee’s Realm… Sarai Collapses The link snaps so violently Sarai screams. Aunt Dee appears instantly, magic crackling around her. Sarai’s eyes roll back as the last of the traitor’s fear floods her mind — sharp, acidic, unmistakable.

He pleaded incoherently, apologizing over and over to the cold, dead phone. In that moment, Dante Moretti snapped. He was no longer the elegant Don. He was a devil who had lost his soul, wanting nothing more than to drag the whole world down into the grave with him.

He was joined by the physician from the main palace. As soon as they removed the last needles from her elbow, she opened her eyes slowly. Lydia weeped for joy as she gave her water to drink. Heavy footsteps were heard in the corridor. The door was pushed open at once and she saw, the Devil.

“There are a lot of things I would dare that are beyond your imagination.” Dante tilted his head, placing his sinfully enticing lips above my ear. “I’m giving you a choice, Olivia: move in with me or get ready to never see your boys again.” Whatever attraction I felt for him burned to the ground. Note to self, Olivia; Dante Romero might be a masterpiece crafted by God, but he has the heart of the devil. Always remember that. “Fine.” The word tasted like poison as it left my lips. A stupid, satisfied smirk rested on Dante’s face, and I growled, wanting to slap it off.

The two men tied to the chains, looked up from their bloodied states only to see the devil standing in front of them. "Let the fun begin," Dante smirked, stabbing the first man in the shoulder and twisting his knife a full 180 degrees. The man screamed in unbearable pain and already felt his life slipping away. Dante had dug his knife into the same spot the man was shot at. "How dare you even touch my girl?" Dante gritted every word before dragging the knife to his chest, cutting open all the skin that came in its way. "How dare you even look at her with your filthy eyes?" the man spat some blood before looking in Dante's eyes.

A black SUV pulls up, dust billowing around it as it comes to a stop. The door opens, and sure enough, but it’s Dante, his expression grim as he steps out. He’s followed by Axton for some reason. Of course, I fucking forgot Dante is based here. Fuck, that demon did a number on me. “Ah, I think I might like the calvary,” I greet him, my voice a low growl. “Took you long enough, asshole.”

"You're acting like I locked you in with the devil." "Yes, you did!" I shot back. I knew I was exaggerating, but for real, she did lock me in with the devil. Dante is the devil. "Do you know what he did? He is so infuriating!" Vittoria burst out laughing, as if the moment were funny.
