Raven sat at the end of the table, she looked at the head of the table and there he was the man from last night. That's when Raven realized that all the staff had put on make-up and perfume to impress him and their hair was nicely done. Yet she Raven on the other hand was dirty from the ingredients and cooking. She was sweating and her hair was in a messy ponytail. She snapped out of it and waited for the dinner to begin, she was proud of the food that she had made. “I see you’re struggling.” Keiran’s breathing was uneven. His wound was worse than I thought. I tightened my grip on him. Salvatore’s gaze lingered before he turned back to Donovan. “Shall we talk?” Donovan scoffed. “You came with swords, not words.” Salvatore shrugged. “A precaution.” He stepped forward, stopping just before Damien’s corpse. He glanced down at the body. No emotion. Just mild interest. Then he looked at Donovan again. “You killed your own blood.”

But Damon just smiled, his eyes glinting with ruthlessness. "I'm afraid it's not negotiable, Mr. Kendrick," he said. "Either you agree to my terms, or we walk away." Kendrick's face paled, but he nodded, his voice barely above a whisper. "Okay, deal." Damon smiled, feeling a rush of triumph. He stood up, his eyes never leaving Kendrick's face. "Welcome to the team, Mr. Kendrick," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm sure we'll have a very... profitable relationship."

“You son of a bitch.” “I will fucking end you, Mancini,” Salvatore growled. Domenico made sure to shield me. “Lay a finger on her again, and they’ll never find your body.” A gasp left me as Salvatore pulled out his gun and aimed it at Domenico. “The body they’ll never find is y—” Domenico’s fist slammed into his face with such force Salvatore fell to the ground, his gun skidding across the floor. Domenico hissed and clutched his side, bending over. Worry knotted my stomach as I placed my hand on his back. He looked to me, his jaw clenched, and nodded.

He swirled the amber liquid in his glass before dropping it on the glass table beside him. “I am Damien.” He said. Now lighting a cigarette. The room fell silent. The tick of the clock became the only thing that could be heard. His eyes held mine, daring me to look away. And then, the corner of his lips curved. His voice cut through me like a sharp blade as the smell of smoke enveloped me. “...Salvatore DeLuca.” Voice calm. The name struck me like lightning, my body went stiff and I almost passed out on the spot.

An elderly man right beside Alexia speaks first and it moves on till it reaches him, he looks Alexia up and down and he smirks and says, “We met this morning, it’s like destiny, or should I say fate? I should have introduced myself then, but it skipped me because I couldn’t think straight when I saw you.” Alexia smiles in his direction and nods her head. She wipes her palms slowly in her trousers so, it isn’t obvious that she is nervous. The young man continues when she doesn’t say a thing, “My name is Damon Salvatore. The CEO of Salvatore Gold company.” Alexia replies to him, with a blank expression,
