The wind doesn’t stop, but it whips through his long, coal-colored hair, making the locks dance around his face as if he’s a goth version of Medusa.

SALLY’S POV Two days, it had been two whole days since that night of blood and gunfire, since I watched Dante... Doom, drop to the ground with a bullet in his shoulder because of me, because I couldn’t protect myself, because I froze.
