Tyler stormed past us, his fiery fingertips blazing against mine as he grabbed my hand and pulled me away from Asher. We walked down Blood moon’s main street, back toward the pack house, and Asher jogged up next to us. “I had a nice visit with my mother,” Tyler said between gritted teeth. “Turns out that someone’s ex-boyfriend is in the running to become the next leader of the demons. And if that’s not fucking suspicious to you, I don’t know what the fuck is.”

Tyler stood up and continued to laugh. "When's your tour?" Tyler asked. "Tomorrow. Why?" Josh asked. "Will you miss me?" "Of course not. Why would I miss you?" Tyler asked. I said, offering her the wine. She turned, took one look at the bottle, and grinned. “This will do.” Then Devon walked in. He was early. Wearing a black tailored suit, no tie, collar slightly loose.
