In Love With My Spiritual Father
He had buried himself in the church, in sermons, in counseling, in responsibilities, and in carrying the burdens of other people.
He became Pastor Timothy before he remembered how to simply be Timothy, and the man beneath the title slowly disappeared. He told himself that this was what devotion looked like—sacrifice, service, putting others before himself. And maybe it was. But somewhere along the way, he forgot that he was still human, still a husband, still someone who needed affection and connection.
