“Your tattoo is gone.” Hikari smiled at me, “that’s where Yuki lives, luna. When I release him completely, my dragon tattoo around my neck disappears, too.” “Woah-ho-ho! Goddess! This is some insanity! You are so cool!” I said in the heat of the moment. Hikari’s face turned stoic as he peered at Yuki with a quick gulp. “Um, I apologise if I was offensive. Arthur said, his threat silent yet lingering in the air. Dexter waved his hands, seemingly unfazed and not ready to back down. His gaze remained fixed on me, sizing me up. “So you are that chick from the city with the son? I heard all about you the moment I stepped into the arena. You are fucking good, baby girl. Well, I’ll ignore the child for now. I need a quick bang and I can help elevate your reputation,” he pulled out a key card from his pocket, handing it over. “Come around,” he added.

I’d never admit that out loud. I turned my gaze to one of the trainees. My friend, Dexter. He winked at me. I rolled my eyes but smiled. Dexter was training to be a soldier. Unlike most trainees, he wasn’t ashamed to associate with omegas. He was friends with quite a few of us, Selene and me included.

Zayn commented, handing the phone to Dexter. Dexter took the phone and glanced at the screen, where the pair of hands was working intently. His expression suddenly shifted, and he sat up straighter. Upon seeing this, the others thought Dexter was interested in the streamer. They all pulled out their phones and flooded the streamer's live room with gifts. Instantly, gift emojis filled the screen. The streamer was stunned for a second before she chuckled. Her voice then came through the speakers. "Thank you so much, everyone."

It was almost like they were multiple scents blended into one. “You still haven’t told me.” Reyona pulled her mind away from silly thoughts when she realised that she had totally missed what he was saying to her. She blinked at his amused face and quickly remembered what he had said before. “You can just call me Dexter,” she said quickly. "Dexter,” he said, as if he were rolling the name over his tongue. “I like it,” he said with a thoughtful nod to himself. “Glad you do,” Reyona said sarcastically.
