(Come in. The man opened the door and gestured for me to enter,but I didn't move, I didn't even flinch. The man came behind me ,put his hand on my back and I have to say slowly nudged me into the room. Once inside I didn't really know how to react at what was in front of me. It was the man from the shooting, lying in bed, bare chested with a robe around him,next to him some sort of medical equipment,his hand hooked to an IV.

A slow, humorless smile crept across his lips. “So,” he murmured, mostly to himself. “Adrian has finally chosen to take the offensive.” A slow clap disrupted the stillness. Dante’s gaze shot up to see Malcolm Gray approaching, his usual smirk firmly in place. He wore his signature crisp suit, silver hair slicked back, with a cigarette dangling loosely from his fingers. Dante's jaw tightened. “You have got quite the nerve showing up here, Malcolm.” Malcolm released a cloud of smoke. “Oh, come on, Dante. Let’s not pretend you didn’t see this coming.”

His feelings were far too fleeting. Ryan's fingers twitched, and I knew he was recalling the same moment. Then, he reached out with his claws and scraped away the words on my tombstone, carving new ones in their place. "Ryan and his mate, Tiana, rest here together." His claws tore open against the rough stone, blood dripping from his fingers, but he ignored the pain. Slowly, he lay down in the grave he had just excavated. A satisfied smile crossed his lips as he injected himself with a lethal dose of wolfsbane. His pupils contracted sharply, his breathing grew labored, and his body convulsed under the poison's effects.

"But you just don’t listen, do you?" Without another word, Grey leaned down, ripping the old tape off Dennis's mouth with a single swift motion. Dennis gasped, his mouth finally free, but before he could say anything, Grey slapped another piece of tape over it, even tighter than before. "There," Grey said, dusting his hands off like he had just finished a menial task. "Much better." He stared at Dennis for a moment longer, his eyes cold, almost amused. Then, without another word, he slammed the trunk shut again, the sound echoing into the night.

His name was Gray, and he was from one of the southern packs. “I… I didn't know... I swear, I didn't know!” He clasped his hands together, staring at me as if I were a god he had offended. “Just fucking talk already!” Caspian roared. Gray swallowed, nodding. Then he sucked in a shaky breath before shifting his gaze back to me. “T-that new one... Kylar... He was talking about all kinds of things… I thought that he was just bragging…”
