I would do that with a smile on my face. Suddenly I heard a click as the door slowly opened.

“Then let’s go,.” He opened the door-, stepping aside to let me pass first,.

I slowly open the door. "Who are you? reveal yourself now!"

I open the front door and… ‘Surprise!!!’

She's a brunette unlike these three who are blondes. I walk towards the door to open it, I wonder why they didn't just push it open, they are trying to act so polite and I like it that way, I smile as I open the door which is transparent from the inside and opposite from the exterior. They giggle, jumping over my neck. I'm quite amazed. "Welcome girls, you seem so excited, why that?"

Luna replies, gesturing toward the door before me and continuing on her way, leaving me with the unspoken gravity of her words. Quickly closing the gap to the door, I knock, but there's no answer. I knock again, feeling a sense of nervous anticipation building up within me. Just as I consider knocking once more, a breeze blows, and the door shifts open. It must have been unlocked all along, my distracted mind failing to notice. The urge to see Alex overpowers any hesitation, and I push the door open further, stepping in.

He calmly goes out and I follow him. He silently gets a key card from his pocket and open the door. “You live in a penthouse?” I exclaim, gaping at the door. Awestruck. “Yeah,” he calmly nods. “You can close your mouth now.” The huge and elegant door finally opens. He gestures a hand inside. “Get in.”

He walks out shutting the door softly. I woke up the next morning and open my door, her’s is open and I hear her moving around inside. I softly knock on the open door, “good morning beautiful,” I say softly, leaning on the door frame. She spins around and she looks radiant, wearing a golden yellow dress, with green leaves dancing around the bottom, her smile is just as bright and her cheeks flush pink.

"He timed this exactly." The maintenance door handle moves. Just slightly. A half turn and then back, like someone testing it from the other side. Bastien steps in front of me without any drama, just a single smooth movement that puts his back between me and the door, and I let him because this is not the moment to argue about symbolism. The door opens.

I grit my teeth, helplessly bringing myself before the gates to either an end or a new beginning. Ugh, why’s it sounding so cringy? There’s no need to feel so serious about this. Grab the handle and walk in. Wait, won’t he find that to be rude? But brutally against my reasoning, I’m already bringing the door open and planting my feet on the threshold. My frantic eyes scan the entire room in a swift glance, and I sigh a little, not daring to let my shoulders sink as I test a foot out. When it’s not like he’s got some motion-activated laser death beams in wait for my intrusion. Well, I might as well search for a safe spot fast before that door comes open...shit.
