A well built man came out from the front car. “Good day Miss. Lola the first missus of the Williams family would like to see you” he said Lola was dumbstruck she knew she couldn’t stall forever but she wasn’t prepared to meet Hayden’s mother. She already had a feeling the woman would despise her.

Lola chuckled self mockingly, maybe this was the price she had to pay for her selfishness, for going ahead to date Chad when she could see it so clearly that Camille was in love with him. Lola glanced at the time, it was getting on to evening. She had missed an entire day of work, if it was before, she would have freaked out, but today, today she was too shattered to care.
