Unlike Alessandro’s finesse, Aristide’s approach was raw and aggressive. His strikes came heavy and fast, each one rattling the wooden post that held the dummy upright. With a final, thunderous swing, the dummy split clean in half, scattering wood and stuffing in all directions.
“That’s one way to make a mess,” Lucia said, stepping into the circle with her blade balanced effortlessly in one hand. Her hair was pulled into a sleek ponytail, her expression a mix of smugness and determination.
