But before he could move, Dima shot forward, her voice sharp, cutting through the air.
Dima: No... Stop!
She slid past the bar, her eyes gleaming with a sinister spark, her voice dropping to a low, poisonous whisper.
Dima: Come with me.
She walked ahead of him, each step measured, tolling like a funeral bell, until she reached the bedroom door. She paused, then slowly opened it. A wave of oppressive darkness rolled in—denseer and darker than in any other room. The electrician hesitated, standing in the threshold. Dima entered alone, hunched over the floor, wiping the cold iron rod stained with memories of blood. She clung to him tightly, raised her head, and called to him quietly into the vo
