His Untouchable Omega
I screamed.
Suddenly, the screen changed. On the video feed, a massive harvester droid, the kind that usually gathers grain, turned its heavy saw blades toward the human soldiers. Its violet eyes flared. With a mechanical roar, it charged into the crowd. I heard the screams through the speakers. I saw the blood splash against the silver metal.
"Leo, no! Stop it! You’re killing them!" I grabbed his shoulders, trying to pull him down from the air.
He looked at me, and for a second, the violet light faded. I saw my son again, the boy who loved to hide in my hair and laugh at the sun. "Mama... it hurts. Too many voices. They’re all screaming."
