Savage Maui Boys
When I wake up, everyone is sleeping in random places and it's pitch-black outside, indicating that I must have slept for a while.
As I stand up to stretch, I hear someone behind me. I turn around and see Jim, Dakoda's dad, getting up. He whispers, "Would you like to go grab a cup of coffee with me, son?"
“Sure," I reply.
We leave the room and search for the cafeteria, but it's closed at this hour. Instead, we settle for the coffee available in the waiting room.
“Sit with me for a while, son," Mr. Savage suggests, and I oblige. "So, how are you holding up?" he asks.
