We reached a door marked "Primary Research Director" and Damon checked for alarms before opening it. Inside was an office that looked more like a command center. Maps covered the walls showing coalition territories, photographs of me were pinned to a bulletin board with notes about my abilities and weaknesses, research papers detailed every healing technique I had ever used. And sitting behind the desk, calmly waiting for us, was Dr. Rachel Torres.

A palpable silence shrouds them, as Xander stared back and forth between his hand and his genuine filled face. The pack doctor ran into the scene. His voice a pitch high. "Alpha!." I hope I don't fail. The next morning, I open my tired eyes as I try to look for the doctor. And as always, he's not in bed next to me. So, resigned, I grab a robe and go out to have some coffee before going to work. When I arrived in the living room, I saw that he was sitting in one of the dining room chairs, wearing his red boxers and a white sleeveless t-shirt. “Doctor Dustin?” I whispered, surprised to see him there. “Wow, he sleeps too much!” He murmured with his perfect magazine-man demeanor. “I guess sex is like an exercise for you,” he said as he passed a needle through the fabric of the dress that Abby had torn.

He says as he kneels next to X. I’m so nervous right now. He lifts X’s eyelids one by one shining light in them. “Good, good,” he says, thank god. He grabs onto X’s hand. “Xavier, I’m Dr. Fischer, if you can hear me squeeze my hand,” the doctor instructs. Thank fuck! I see X’s hand lightly squeeze the doctor’s and I can actually jump for joy right now. Dr. Fischer does a few more tests and X responds to them.

This is definitely a reward placed in a platter of gold to me" I muttered to myself as I held my hands in the air, staring at the bowl of chicken soup that was now turning cold. "Let me feed you" Xavier uttered as he collected the bowl. I knew the Doctor read someone else report, thinking I'm the one suffering from amnesia. I laughed remembering hitting off the papers in his hands, that must have been the cause of the mishap that has now turned to a blessing to me.

The door to the ward opened and the doctor walked in with a nurse behind him, they both turned to the door to see who it was. “I’m sorry for interrupting. Good morning sir.” The doctor greeted and Alex nodded in response before slowly standing up from the bed, he ran his hands through his hair as he stood on his feet, he looked so rough and sexy, that the nurse couldn't keep her eyes off him. Blakeley noticed this and she felt somehow mad. “Are you okay Mrs. Xanders? Are you feeling any pain?” He asked and she shook her head in response. Alex kept staring at her as the doctor questioned her.

The doctors inquire from the hunter, who is deep in thoughts of his own. "Hello?!" The doctor waves his hands Infront of the hunter's face and taps him back to present. "Mr. Xander? That name sounds familiar. Wait a minute, I remember!" He snap his fingers. "When I first saw her, she also mentioned the same name and am just recalling now, you have a smart phone right sir, please help me with it, please?" The hunter asks so calmly. "Sure. Here it is." He hands his phone over to the hunter. "But you've got to make it a quick one because I've got other patients to attend to."

He looked at the rest of the lads, "All of you. You all brought back that light inside of her and I'm very thankful." "Aw shucks, it was nothin'!" Zack exclaimed which made us all laugh. Something we definitely needed at that moment. But the moment was short. "Mr Secter?" My eyes travelled to where I was called. Everyone silenced as I got up and faced the Doctor. "How is she?" I asked impatiently, scared. The doctor looked at me for a couple of seconds before sighing. He was going to carry on and say something when Xavier came up from behind him, putting a hand on his shoulder which made the doctor look back at him in silence.
