“Please wake up Xander, I'm right here, just wake up." I whispered as I held his hand but he didn't move. “What is wrong with him, doctor? Why is he like this?” Dante asked and I looked at the doctor expectantly. "I really don't know what's wrong with him, especially why he's burning up so much. I've checked his system and everything seems to be alright.” The doctor said looking at Xander in confusion. My heart was beating so fast in fear and panic and as crazy as that might sound I was seconds away from crying.

I rarely had cause to visit the clinic, and so all of the other times I’d been here recently coincided with Layla getting injured. When Xavier came in with my mate a moment later, all rumpled and bloodstained, the older, usually diminutive man simply punched some numbers into the sleek landline on his desk. “Get a room ready, now.” That was all he said before getting up out of his seat, and aside from a clipped ‘Follow me’ he didn’t say anything else. Layla’s room was ready even before we got there, and the Doctor asked Xavier to fill him in on everything that happened as he laid her out on the bed so he would inspect her.

His face was covered in scars, but his smile was the same one that had saved me a thousand times. "Miss me?" Bryan asked. But before I could grab him, a red laser dot appeared on Bryan’s forehead. I looked up at the black platform. The Doctor was holding a high-tech rifle, his finger on the trigger. "If I can't have the key," the Doctor hissed, "no one can." The gun fired.

Who is this woman in his life? "Oh, hi!" Doctor Vina waved at me. Now I know why he is familiar to me. He is the medical student I saw with Raxon seven years ago. I can't be wrong. I noticed how Raxon removed the doctor's hand when my gaze moved over there. "Aren't you the woman who visited Mrs. Hudson? I guess, you're his son's girlfriend. Am I wrong?" Raxon's jaw clenched. I swallowed hard but his set of deep black eyes didn't leave mine. I caught a glimpse of Arci as he grabbed my arm. He was also looking at the two people in front of us.

* He tells Liam. *Yeah, I prefer rough s£x...but it's better than none!* Liam said. Xander nods in agreement. The doctor stares at him quietly, wondering what he's thinking about. "Alpha?" He called. Xander blinks back to reality and clears his throat. "If there's nothing else, you can leave!" "Thank you, Alpha!" The doctor said...he gets up and leaves. Just as he leaves Micah and Will comes in...they sees Xander sitting on the sofa.

“Boss, he did not want to come, so I had to find a way to get him here.” “So who the fuck is with Lexi then.” The Doctor only clears his throat as he steps nervously around. Well, I can only think what he thinks of our bunch. Then he mumbles before he starts to speak, “There is another Doctor and Nurse with her.” “How is she? Is she okay?” With that, I wink at Colton to take his gun out the side of the Doctor that seems very much relieved now. Yet, he carries on, “I do not want to know what you boys are into, but...”

The Doctor said and nodded. The Doctor gently applied the cream and Grace made the mistake of wincing in pain. The Doctor was suddenly pulled away from Grace, as Xan had his hand round the Doctor’s neck! “How dare you hurt her?” Xan growled as he started to squeeze the Doctor’s neck. “Xan he didn’t hurt me, it is fine! He is just doing his job! Please!” Grace said in a panicked voice. But Xan did not stop and suddenly a memory came crashing through her mind.

“When will I be able to get back home, Detective?“ She asks, excited she would see Xander once again, wrap herself in his arms and welcome the solitude that comes with having him within her reach. The excitement can be seen through her expression so much she notices the Detective sharing in her happiness, feeling timid, she looks away. “I am sure once the Alpha hears of you, he will come that very instant and take you back home.“ The doctor pulled out a picture of the late Doctor he collected from John. “Do you know this man?“ He showed it to her. A sad solemn look etched on her face in an instant. “Yes. He was the doctor who treated me some months back. He was killed by Fred because he trie

*****Xena's POV***** “What?!” Zoe yelled out as the words of the Doctor registered in her mind. “Yes, Lady Zoe.” The Doctor nodded. Everyone turned in my direction and I formed. The Doctor said he wouldn't be able to reject me if I gave my blood to him. And he might die if we don't offer the blood to him. “Xena this is the most critical point of your life, Ryder saved your life and it's time to return the favor.” Layla suddenly posed in my head and I bit my lower lip.

Xavier asked his voice a little shaky. It had every right to be because he ass panicking. The fact that he had seen the foam spread out of the lady's mouth is enough reasons to make him fear with all his might, he was frightened in every sense of the word, and the more he tried fixing his mind on one direction, the young man felt like this world was truly getting the best out of him, which is just so awkward. The Doctor suddenly had an engraved expression on his face, it was a sign that everything wasn't alright, and at once, Xavier's attention was keenly placed on the man's own. There is no way that he could stay a moment without figuring these things out.
