Does Elena Die Novels & Stories

"Because we worked together on this plan." Elena's laugh was like broken glass. "Were we partners? Because I don't recall agreeing to help you commit medical fraud." "But you knew about it," I insisted. "You had to know what Marcus and I were planning." "Did I?" Elena stood up again, this time moving toward her apartment door. "Because as far as I know, my husband died of natural causes. That's what his doctor told me, anyway." The way she emphasized 'his doctor' made my blood run cold again.

She would just kill Kira and get it over with " What's wrong?" " I think it would be best if we kill her and get it over with. That way we can hide her body quickly and even if we are discovered there would be no evidence " " I didn't think you were such a chicken" Elena's eyes changed to one of displeasure as she regarded Zahra "No one will find out, also what I choose to do with her is none of your business. As long as I complete my promise of killing her after I am done we have no problem. Now leave me be, I wish to rest" she wanted to shut her door but Zahra stopped her. Elena becomes even more irritated by her. " Did you not hear what I said? Get out"

“Let him go.” Elena stepped forward—vial in hand. “One drop. The strain activates. Targeted. Precise. You can’t stop it now.” I moved—slow—hands open. “Elena. Sofia wouldn’t want this.” Her eyes flickered—something breaking behind them. “She’s dead because of them. Because of you.” “No,” I whispered—closer now. “She’s dead because of the blood. The same blood in you. Don’t let it win.”

She was reliving the event all over again, and the panic I had seen in her face earlier appeared. "You don't have to tell me, Ela." "I want to." She said, wiping the tear that rolled down away. "Elena closed earlier than usual and came home to make dinner for the family. She walked in and found me with their hands around my neck, and her heart couldn't take it. She had a heart attack and died on the spot. It should have been me who died that day."

Elena said quietly, straining as she tightened her grip, “I’ve been savoring this moment for a very long time.” With a final roar, she twisted and broke Lucia's neck, then let the limp and lifeless body fall heavily to the floor. She watched with satisfaction as the enhanced flesh began to collapse in on itself…as the monstrous form slowly shrunk into something broken and small. Lucia was dead. Elena stood over her for a moment, chest heaving, blood dripping from her hands…then she turned away towards the others as they continued to decimate the rapidly reducing hordes of VORTEX soldiers.

My eyes—my eyes were no longer flecked with silver. They were pure silver. I looked at my brother. At Kael. At Ronan. At Zephyr. “Elena is already dead,” I said softly. “She just doesn’t know it yet. And when she learns the truth, she will come for me.” Zephyr smiled—cold, sharp, triumphant. “Let her come.” Kael drew his blade, his obsidian eyes blazing. “We’ll be waiting.” Ronan cracked his knuckles, a vicious grin spreading across his face.

"They grew up together. Went to the same schools. Elena was at the accident. She was in the car with us that night." "What happened to her?" "She disappeared. After Rebecca died and I woke up in the hospital, Elena was gone. The police searched for her. They thought maybe she'd been thrown from the car. They dragged the river. Searched the woods. Nothing. After six months, they declared her dead." "But she's not dead," I said quietly. "No. She's very much alive." One of the guards cleared his throat. "Sir, there's something else. We ran facial recognition on her. Cross referenced with historical databases."

"If you hurt her, Lira if you so much as smudge a single memory of hers, I will find a way to delete you while you're still screaming." Lira-Elena laughed, a sharp, melodic sound that echoed in the small cabin. She leaned forward, pressing her chest against his hand, her breath warm against his ear. "Oh, Alexander. You always loved a tragedy. But remember... if you kill me, you kill the only girl who ever actually loved you back." She pulled away, her eyes flickering back to a warm, terrified brown. "Alex... stop," Elena gasped, her hands shaking as she grabbed his wrist. "I’m back. I’m here. We have to go. The hangar master is coming."

But it was too late for her to escape her fate. I stepped forward, my voice a sinister whisper, "Elena, dear Elena, you thought you could betray me and walk away unscathed? Oh, how wrong you were." Her gaze locked onto mine, a mixture of confusion and terror. I reveled in her vulnerability, relishing the moment before her inevitable demise. The vial slipped from my fingers, its contents swirling around Freya like a malevolent mist, seeping into her very being.

As a servant or something else? "Then you're prepared for the consequence that every one of Elijah's Lunas has met a tragic end?" Elena continued. Wait, what? What did she mean? Suddenly, I remembered Eugenia's story about Elijah's Luna dying in an accident. Did that have something to do with what Elena said? A wave of fear washed over me. "Stop with the ominous talk. I have my own way of protecting my Luna," Elijah said coldly. "Fine, if you say so." Elena nodded gracefully.
