Clyde Butch Pov: My eyes widened in disbelief as I beheld the scene before me. Doubt clouded my mind, and I couldn't help but question whether I was mistaken. Seeking clarification, I turned to Diyo and reached out to grab hold of what appeared to be the edge of a bra. I couldn't contain my confusion as I asked, "What is this?" We both gazed at it, puzzled and bewildered. As I opened my bag, I couldn't believe my eyes. The contents inside were far from anything I had imagined. Confusion washed over me, and I knew I needed answers. The only person who could provide one on the bizarre situation in front of me was Diyo.

Dory beside me was already asleep. Good gracious, it’s my first time riding a plane. Ms. Dory did a huge favor to me, and I don’t know how to repay her. She’s so kind and I’m thinking why doesn’t she settle down? She deserves everything and it seems like—I don’t know but I can sense that there’s a sadness reigning in her. Like how she looked at you, you can see through the depths of her eyes that she may have a painful past or something.

“Were you abused when...?” “Oh, no...” Doris raised her hands and shook her head vigorously. “No! Derek confirms with a firm nod, and then frowns, “But how did you know?” My eyes shift to Dory, who returns my gaze with a look of confusion. We have two people affected by the same herbal poison.

“Mixed up red and green.” Dolly’s lips part slightly, but no words come out. My voice drops. “Has she been tested for color blindness?” She fidgets. “She… she gets confused sometimes. The teacher said—” “I asked you a question.” Her hands clench on the table. “No, she hasn’t been tested.” “You’ve known she sees colors differently and never thought to tell me?” “I didn’t think it mattered,” she says weakly. “I thought she’d grow out of it.”

Doris paused abruptly. Kerry searched impatiently for more explanation in Doris's eyes but the little tears in them made her even more confused. “Jace is fine too, right?” She asked in a panicking tone. Doris shook her head. Kerry's phone dropped from her hand, her eyes widened even more as tears rushed out of them. “I am sorry Kerry”.

Lorna sat in the passenger seat, adjusting her mirror to glance back at her with an amused smile, hair tied in a messy ponytail, sunglasses hiding her eyes. "She looks cute all confused," Lorna said, chewing gum loudly. "What the hell is going on?! Where are we going?! Untie me!" Dorya's voice cracked as she struggled. She yanked against the rope, heart hammering, lungs constricting. "What is wrong with you two?!" Chantel snorted. "What’s wrong with us? Oh, baby. We’re just giving you what you need." Dorya thrashed harder. "Let me go!"

Doris paused abruptly.
