Dostoevsky: Demons Novels & Stories

Who could have thought that such heinous deeds were being committed inside this innocent looking building? “Shall I escort you?” She asked. “No. Go wait in the car outside, I’ll be right there.” I told her and headed towards a door at the back of the factory. The cold storage has to be somewhere in that direction, and although I knew what I’d find there, I still went alone. As the Demon King and the head of the Dark Council, I’d witnessed far worse scenarios from a very early age. No one ever gets used to watching such horrors, but it was like poison, once you take it on a daily basis in tiny doses, your body becomes resistant to it. Maybe that said something about my sanity, or maybe I was

He made himself clear. "Demons," Elroy spoke casually, "I Know." "Five ranks of Demons roam this world as taught to us by Commander Allas. Rank five demons, the lowest of them all are called dark souls, eyes hallow as night - pale dead skin - they were once humans, but now taken over by dark spells wrath on them by drinking sorcery of Ethan Roy.” “Who is he? Ethan Roy.” Elroy was intrigued by such a man.

Turning the music off, I grab the lavender and put it in a tiny glass vase, and set it in the center of the long ebony black dining table. Walking out of the conjoined dining room and kitchen I grab my book, my water bottle, and a blanket. I set the water and blanket by the back door that leads to the porch, and the beach a little off, and head back to the kitchen with my book. Of human bondage, by W. Somerset Maugham. The book itself isn't bad, but from my point of view, it's terribly bland. I like more poetic works. But also a hint of darkness. The best example is the poem, In the Desert, by Stephen Crane, from his book The Black Riders and Other Lines. It has a sense of dystopia that I ca

"Jacob! Jacob! Help me!" His cry seemed to go unheard because the smoke that surrounded him only grew thicker and he was surprised when a red creature, with two horns, and a long tail appeared in front of him. A demon. "What are you doing here? Why are you here?" Linus asked fearfully. "I'm going to give you an offer." The demon laughed hysterically and showed an event just like Lord Rasmus was doing. "You killed a lot of people... and in exchange for those souls, I will give you power. You will be able to do everything. I will make you my disciple and you will not have to think about what else to do. I will let you, unlike Lord Rasmus who stops you from everything you want and punishes you.

“Situations change, Idamus…either way doesn’t change the issue that I need your help with.” “Hmm…” Idamus nodded, as he thought. “I’m just concerned…everything that seems to be happening right now is because of this demon.” He raised his hand in a plea at Ruben’s icy glare as his eyes started to blaze. “Hear me out…if you please…conflicts have arisen within your clan and that of Lord Semenov, you have taken responsibility for the slaughter of humans and the burning of two locations in the South of the city…there is also conflict arising from a werewolf pack up state that your men raided, fought with, killed and arrested the survivors for drug dealing…meanwhile reports coming in clearly state

He held the fairy to the wall and strangled her to death. Once he had committed the crime he came to his sense and realized what he had done. ‘Hide the body!.’ Loki whispered into the man's mind. The man looked left and right and pulled the fairy’s body into his hotel room. Loki is an inner Demon, that Demon that tells you negative things in your mind, sometimes it seems as though that Demon took a hold of a person and controls everything one does. After a while it seems as though the Demon fled when the crime has been successfully committed leaving the person to face what he or she has done.

I stiffened as the demons teleported near us to take a good look at our presence, their movement sent a cold shiver down my spine. Before I could react, Damien pulled me closer, positioning himself in front of me like a shield. His grip was firm and reassuring, yet tense with unspoken fury. The demons stood before us, their eyes gleaming with something dark and insatiable. They looked at me as though I were a feast laid out before them, ready to be devoured. But did demons actually consume human flesh, or was it our souls they craved? Could they destroy us simply by feeding on our desires—ours and theirs—until there was nothing left? The thought sent a new wave of unease coursing through me.

“Caution never hurts. You need to be prepared for shuffling zombies." Dave made a contemptuous throaty sound. "Please. They are just as dangerous or focused as the demon that summons them. Most will give up before the fight gets interesting." I never knew how serious to take Dave. He was a good guy, even with dark red skin, purest black eyes, and occasional bouts of uncontrollable anger. But nobody is perfect. “I swear,” he continued. “Most demons have ADD2. As soon as things start to get better, they leave to start some new shit. That's why they never finish anything."

He felt the paralysis beginning in his body. "Your name?" the demon voice demanded in his mind again. Even it was his first encounter with real demons, Ruslan knew that giving a demon your name wasn't a good idea. Don't think the name! Whatever you do, don't think! Once a demon knew your name, its power over you increased. He'd never read any story about those who gave their name ever escaped the demons.

As soon as I emerged from the car, every single soul went into a bow. The demons lurking around Nikolai in their shadowy, twisted forms writhed with a sinister laughter, compelling him to bow lower. Nikolai stumbled under their weight and the force they put on him. My demons were clearly trying to bring him to his knees, but like Nesryn said, he was resisting them.
