Dostoevsky: Demons Novels & Stories

"I hope you liked my present. I heard the good news about you having a daughter so I thought about giving you a gift." "I won't leave you, Dmitry. You are taking this war too far. I am warning you one last time, do not involve my family!" "Why don't you always forget that It's you who involved my family in your war, now suffer the consequences of it…" Dmitry Kyschove was known as the demon in the Russian Mafia and Demons never leave their prey, they hunt them, torment them and then kill them. Dmitry Kyschove was going to do the same with his enemies!

I had to move fast. I turned through the pages of the spell book with shaky hands until I finally settled on what I was searching for. “Thrakos, Demon of the Underworld, Lord of Hell,” I whispered, my fingers tracing the forbidden verse. “He who commands the forbidden flames of the devil's domain,” my voice grew louder, desperation etched in my eyes, "I call thee, Thrakos. I summon thee to the mortal realm. Kneel before–” The sound of thunder cracking cut me short before I could complete my words. The ground began to rumble and the circle I had engraved on the ground expanded outwards as dark smoke clouded the entire place.

he said, his tone was firm. I chuckle. “Isn't it amusing how an ant thinks it's an elephant? Where do you get so much power? Do you think Dexter will be able to save you from me? I'll give you a quick advice,” I leaned closer to him. “Let's not shed blood. Turn in the document, and I'll leave quietly,” I said, leaning back. “I'd like to see if you bleed in red or black.” He said. Stubborn. I like this.

“They’re happy. They’re not suffering, and they don’t have any troubles. “They only belong to me. “This is art! It’s perfect art!” He was completely insane. It was completely inhumane. He had turned these young women into his personal toys. I looked at those young women. They were only in their early twenties. Their lives were just starting. However, they were trapped in this dungeon. I recalled what Charlie had said. “The pretty lady fell asleep after the jab, just like sleeping beauty.” It turned out that this was what he was referring to. I felt very sad. I was sad for these young women and this despicable world.

What is Pete actually planning to do to me at that ceremony? I move to the small bookshelf in my room, searching for anything about demons or dark magic. Most of the books are romance novels and etiquette guides, useless for my purposes. But tucked at the back, I find a thin volume on supernatural creatures. I flip through pages frantically until I find a short section on demons. The text is brief, clearly sanitized for general reading, but it gives me fragments of information. "Demons are entities from the Lower Realms, capable of manifesting in the physical world only through complex rituals. They require anchors to maintain corporeal form and powerful vessels to contain their essence."

It was like a call to her homeland, as if they wanted to take back what truly belonged to them. “Are you even hearing yourself?!” Nyles said in an exasperated tone. “We all know that Raul had destroyed the wizard kingdom and leveled all witch covens. Everyone in Vilinski says it, they know it. Draoidh was destroyed long ago. Its King and Queen disappeared and its prince?–he has turned to the dark side, he's known throughout Lorea as the demon wolf. We keep hearing how corrupt and ruthless that man is. He is like a pirate of Lorea who only plunders establishments. He is a paid assassin responsible for bloodshed and misery everywhere he has gone. He is nothing but evil that even Hades fears hi

"One stands guard at the entrance, while the other feasts upon the flesh of the unfortunate." Deacon absorbed the information, his mind racing with tactical calculations. "Demons possess an uncanny ability to multiply rapidly, my friend," he warned, his voice laced with caution. "However, I have devised a plan. I shall ascend to the roof of the house, unleashing my fiery breath to engulf it in flames, distracting one of the demons. Meanwhile, you will engage the other demon, aiming to sever its horn, even if capturing it proves elusive," he explained, his voice carrying a weight of strategic insight.

I'm so sure that it was him because I recognized his voice! "B-Why are you doing this, Damian?" welding weak my question. I almost gasped when I heard myself mention his name. I feel so disgusted just by mentioning his name. And did they really get along with Baldo? You bastards! Demons! I want to scream at them. I want to hurt them until I get bored. I didn't know that their evilness will reach this point. Now I realize I should have cried right away when they were still out! Because now I can't scream anymore. Damian blackmailed me. And nothing else can help us.

"I imagine so. Which is not good." "Is he the Demon Dax mentioned he hated?" I ask. I want to believe that this man, Keo, who Oliver told me about, was some fictitious over-exaggeration of what a Demon is believed to be. "He is. He's not like most Demon's, killing without mercy, and on an impossibly large scale," Kastriv explains, confirming my worst fears. He is real. Kastriv himself has seen him in person. How horrifying. "He's a murderer?"

he declared. I stopped walking… and breathing. “How? I didn’t even give you the tittle of my story…” “A criminal novel, “Inside the Devil’s Mind”, by Anako… Not too creative nickname. Guessing on your reaction I was right, it is your story.” He got closer to me and looked straight into my eyes. “I like the main character, that Troy… You could say we have few things in common,” he used his usual, devilish smirk. I took a deep breath and tried to remain calm but it was impossible, my face was already turning red.
