Luna blew out a short breath before she drew a soft smile on her lips. She looks like a goddess. Those eyes of hers were captivating, said Luna in her head while staring at Larisa. She has never seen a beautiful woman like her. "I'm Larisa Clyborne, Gabe's wife." Larisa introduced and offered her hand politely. "What's your name again?" She asked, not because she doesn't know who she is, but to find out if this woman remembers everything. Luna's lips parted after hearing that name. That means that she was that woman she was curious about. The woman she hated out of her jealousy.

“Who is this Dark Child?” Finrod stood up to pace, “His name had haunted Lenriad for Twenty years. He is travelling the lands to recruit for his army. It was said that no one had ever glimpsed his face.” “Fine. Let’s get into the real business.” Margarette opened a casket which contained the materials she needed to track the Nromais’ fragments easier. Meanwhile, Ellaine had her fair share of a good afternoon nap. Yes, she had dreamed of the Virsathen tree again but at least the empty town wasn’t a part of it this time.

Nothing would stop me now. As I left their room, I took one last glance at their peaceful faces. "Goodnight, my loves," I whispered. "I promise you, everything will be alright." The flickering nightlight cast long shadows across the floor, and I felt a chill run down my spine. I could feel the darkness that lived inside me stir with excitement. And a voice whispered in my head, “The world will soon know our name, Luna Wicken, and they will learn to fear it.”

Bite-Size Luna is the novella prequel to A Queen Among Alphas, book 1 in the Queen Among series. In this series I take supernatural mythology you're familiar with and give it my own spin. So, for reference, there are some things I should make clear in case you haven't read any of the Queen Among books. 1. Werewolves are not called werewolves in this universe, they are called 'mutolupus'. 2. A fated mate or soulmate is called an 'animai'.

“This is who I’m choosing to become. The other was an inheritance. This is a creation.” Months blurred. Luna’s name began to circulate in whispers within Kronos. Not as a social artifact, but as a force. The Grey girl. Fixes broken models. Sees the flaw in the logic. Where did Aris find her? She authored subsections of papers, her insights leading to small but significant breakthroughs in stabilizing shifters with degenerative conditions.
