Kiran said as he nodded to a waiter to come over to our table. “I told you,” Malachi said and I smiled. “The special, three of them and bring the bottle of Scotch,” Kiran said to the waiter. “Yes, Mr. Sinclair,” the waiter said and left again. “What’s the occasion?” Kiran asked. “It’s a girl,” I said and Malachi smiled. “That’s great, man, congrats!” The waiter placed three glasses on the table, a bucket of ice and the bottle of Scotch. Kiran poured our drinks and we clinked our glasses together in a toast.
