Draegon leaned in, whispering near her ear:
“Because I didn’t lure Edwin here.”
He turned his blazing eyes toward Edwin.
“I lured you.”
Edwin’s blood ran cold.
“What do you want with her?”
Draegon smiled.
“The final piece to complete the Ravager ritual.”
Ralph shouted, thrashing uselessly.
“DON’T YOU TOUCH HER!”
Draegon ignored him.
He began chanting—dark, guttural, ancient.
The room shook.
Blue flames turned blood-red.
The shadows thickened, rising like living smoke.
And suddenly Tiara gasped, choking as the spell began to drag her forward toward Draegon.
