Dragon Age Inquisition Blood Mage Novels & Stories

A silver dagger with a deep ruby red gem inlaid into the handle, a wooden stake that was carved with runes, and a large piece of yellow sulfur. "Brimstone," Niniane commented as Layla overturned the mineral in her hand. "How do I use this?" Layla asked curiously. "Sharpening the blade against the stone will cause major damage to any vampire struck by it," she said. Layla pulled one last thing out of the bag; a collection of dried red berries on a sprig. "That's Hawthorne berry. Brew it into a tea," Niniane said. "And what? Invite them to teatime at brunch?" Layla asked sarcastically.

The clerk was still smiling but I could see the awe in their eyes as the blades are engulfed in black flames, dancing all the way from the hilt to the tip. “That is amazing. I can feel you channeling your magic. The donated blood belongs to the nightshade clan. No one has been able to channel their magic through them without so bite back from the blades themselves. The dragon who donated the blood said only their sister magic, or someone descended from the clan, would even be able to get blue flames down the blades. He never said anything about black flames. I still have his name and general location should you wish the speak to him and gain more information. The smith that created them is n

Alec places makers on the map where my horde and the Horde of Fates is located. "Our horde can assist by giving you extra warriors but our magic is not meant for combat so it will not be of much help during battle. The magic we possess is best suited for prophecies and making minor predictions. So to go up against a horde like Betsalel we will need to forge strong magical weapons," Alec speaks in a dooming voice. "Findin raw materials that can be infused with magic will be hard. Do you perhaps have a plan to attain such materials," Flavius asks.

A story which had opened far more questions that it hoped to answer. “If this is the case, and Tenebris was really vanquished when Tamara passed away. Then why now am I dreaming of his resurrection?” This was the one part of the story that did not add up for me. “I only know of the legend. Tamara came from old druid magic. A dark blood magic. Unlike my own earth magic. Blood magic comes at a price and often comes with strings attached. There are often conditions that not even the caster will know about until it is all too late. I would assume that Tenebris found a loophole, a way to escape being vanquished.”

“Our blades run red with the blood of mankind.” “As long as they don’t run with the blood of the Fae or brethren, you can create a river with the blood of this castle and the mage’s college beyond,” Rivyn replied darkly. “Bring me the head of Queen Clareath and I will see you richly rewarded.” Gryndren’s lips curled showing teeth filed to points. “We shall find the coward Queen,” she told him. “And grind her bones to dust.”

"As soon as we can awaken your mage blood, then your training will not be that hard for you since you were a trained fighter who had been through a lot." "Awaken my mage blood?" Lanver was confused. He didn't know if he could ever be accustomed to the terms used in this world. "Yes. Right now we can only feel your presence as a human. Princess Anna must have sealed it to hide you. However, your blood as a mage must be so strong that it could resist Princess Anna's spell, that's why there were times, as you've noticed, when something weird were happening to you." "Why would you know what was happening to me back there?"

Mages who also cast spells were considered to have a higher status than bloodline wizards who relied on talent, because they had a wealth of knowledge. However, one's background is not something one can choose. Now that things have come to this, all she can do is try to find a way to alleviate the symptoms while striving to become a 15th level Dragon Vein Warlock Master as soon as possible, so that she can free herself from the shackles of her bloodline urges once and for all.

We finally have an elder on our side and she can perhaps combat with the warlock magically. "And I can't think straight with this throbbing head and bleeding body." I bobbed my head and bit a chunk of my hand before filling a wine glass with the droplets of my blood. The blood of vampires can help heal up all kinds of wounds on any supernatural species and fragile humans. Bastiana accepted the glass and drank my blood with a gulp while her face mirrored disgust. Her scars began healing and her cuts closed back till her skin was as good as new.

No other element had the power to destroy the magic of death. The blood magic was different. It only worked on the living. A blood mage could tap into the blood and use it in a hundred different ways. The most common way to use blood magic was to pull it out of the body. Shamans striking from the shadows and creating chaos and despair among the dwarf warriors. Much like what goblin warriors did with the devil stone bullets. Blood would find its way out, gushing from the pores, eyes, nose, ears, and all other possible orifices on a person. Pouring out until there was no blood left.

Chase suddenly thought about the two major advancement stages ahead and asked the dragon deity. "Of course. However, the emperor-level color depends on each individual's attributes. After the saint level, righteous practitioners have golden blood, while those of evil paths have black blood," the dragon deity replied. "What about beyond that?" Chase pressed further. "No one has seen it, so no one knows." The dragon deity's tone seemed somewhat helpless. Only then did Chase realize that once one reached the martial Path ancestor, seeing their blood would indeed be extraordinarily difficult. While speaking, Chase had completed most of his Divine Blood conversion. When Nefarious Blast hit him, i
