Whomever this woman was - she was monster, a real monster, and that was rich coming from me. “She is a true monster – and she is stronger than us. I still would not mind tearing her apart”, Bella chimed in. “Sit down Queen Rowena” she said, casually observing my facial expressions, as if she were bored almost.

She had taken divine blood—god-blood—and held it in place, forcing it to bend to her will through the power of her blood magic instead of brute force. The ability was exactly what she had done instinctively, raised to a new, sharper level.

Kael furrowed his eyebrows, and could also feel the movement underground. “Would you mind?” Kael turned to the mage, giving him a questioning look. “Can you not fight?” “You just saw it … I have used up all my alar,” the mage replied.
