Novel & Cerita Dragonwings Summary

She could still them for a bit if she needed to, but it was clear to her what Slate had in mind. As they ran toward the window, both of the men shifted into nearly identical dragons, Flint’s slightly smaller than Slate’s. The younger brother broke through the window, darting out into the sky while Slate paused a moment, waiting for Nya. With no hesitation, she mounted him, running up his tail and wrapping her legs around his neck. His great wings began to pump as he followed his brother through the shards of colored glass and out into the sky.

As she bid farewell to her teacher and her classmates (in her mind), Amy started her journey towards the direction of the City of Wings. It was a smooth walk in the evening breeze. On her way she looked up to the sky to notice a peculiar bird flying above her because of its uniqueness, it had four wings and a twin tail. A leg was hanging down as if it was injured and what seemed to be a drop of blood, dripped down from its leg and fell right in front of her. Amy thought," What a poor beast.", as it flew away.

~JUNO’S POV~ I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Rex transformed into a dragon, indicating that the golden wings I saw the other day were not a figment of my imagination. He did, in fact, transform into a flying creature. No, I just happened to see claws the other day. He’s supposed to be a wolf, after all. The dragon kept looking at me as I gulped down my fear. I had to take a step back as the dragon stared at me again. I gradually began to retrace my ways. I realized I had no choice but to flee. I took out racing into the woods, far into the forest. It wasn’t pursuing me, but it provided an opportunity for me to run as quickly as possible. The atmosphere abruptly shifted. It had ceased t

Then, to make matters worse, the cowards had run with their tails tucked between their legs. I didn’t wait for Mav’s explanation for why someone else hadn’t dealt with these menaces by now. Instead, I strode off, getting a running start before I shifted on the fly in the scant space available. My dragon stretched his wings wide, flapping furiously to get enough momentum with the crowded territory in the air this close to town. It took a minute to reach a higher altitude, but I eyed the growing shapes in the not-too-far off distance with excitement.

Jet wings sliced dawn's gold over Pacific indigo, Tokyo skyline sharpening steel fangs below. Kenji's hand rested possessively on my thigh through jewel silk, obsidian eyes scanning clouds like threats. Mahogany skin still hummed jet-bedroom echoes—silk ties' bite, his gravel claims—but hazel locked forward, dissecting the descent. Eiko's gambit dust, his two-year stalk confessed fuel now, not chain. Tokyo loomed as an empire's heart, where dragons forged or fell.

It’s wings. A sick chill wracks my body and I crouch, ready to leap and run from the hunters and worse. But no. Between two iridescent, rainbow-casting wings is a pale, dung-colored dragon. I narrow my eyes and he plops down next to me, sending a whirlwind of sand into my face. He looks small here, the great beast seeming like nothing compared to the expanse of sand.
