Moon Touched

Moon Touched

She felt lightheaded and completely calm. Crael interrupted her thoughts of Bob and what type of species he may be, "Are you alright? I felt dizzy a few minutes ago and knew it was not me. "I am fine, we have made it to the waterfall caves and are hiding out. What about you? Is everyone safe? Mama. Papa, Lorn, and, my younger brothers? The rest of my pack?" Lorna asked hurriedly as she poured tea into cups for the witches. Some of the other women were helping make tea and some food for everyone. She smiled her thanks to the women, for their help, and felt a small hand pet her wings. Looking down she saw a little boy rubbing a burnt area of her wing. The wing started healing and the boy smile

The Alpha and Luna's Final Fate

The Alpha and Luna's Final Fate

I scream and cling even tighter onto his spike, closing my eyes. The dragon lets out a whine. I open an eye to see his sad look. He twirls again, but time is much slower. As we bypass clouds, I gain the courage to reach my hand out and glide it across the cloud. I let out a breath of excitement which seems to have pleased the dragon. He soars high above the large mountains and hovers in the air, breathing a large gulf of fire. I laugh at his playfulness and then look down and lose my breath momentarily as I see Moon Crest Castle, and the land toward it that was once lush and beautiful is now dark and dreary.

Master: My Alpha King My Master

Master: My Alpha King My Master

************ Wolf Kingdom: Heaven was awoken by the heavenly scent he was perceiving. Looking around him and wondering where the scent was coming from, surely not from his palace. He left his bed and went to his room window and opened it. The scent drew him, it called out to him and without thinking, he jumped out of his window and his big huge black wings sprouted out from his back and he followed the scent. But all of a sudden, the scent was gone.

The Rise of the Frost Dragons (Blue Triangle Series #2)

The Rise of the Frost Dragons (Blue Triangle Series #2)

He glanced at the riders behind the frozen orcs, realizing they’re unharmed as the frost had not reached them. Arth’s eyes returned to the sword, and he pulled it out of the white ground. Despite all the numbness and paleness he had in his hands and legs, he spread his dragon wings widely, then flapped, ascending into the air. He looked up and saw the swarms scurrying in the skies, their formation completely broken. He had to return to the encampment while the beasts and riders had still been dizzy and confused by the tornado. Arth sped over the running mountains below, already drained as he found his eyes getting heavy. His arms and legs couldn’t move that much. Only the dragon wings still

Reclaiming My Beloved Dragon Prince

Reclaiming My Beloved Dragon Prince

I will need to be their family now. "Shh, Niblings. Auntie will tell you a story," I promise with a wide-open smile. It will be hours until we make it back home, a long trip for such little hearts. "Once upon a time, there was a strong dragon prince. He lived high on a mountain overlooking the sea. He didn't believe in love, until one day, a beautiful woman was given to him as a sacrifice..."

Taming the Fire Dragon

Taming the Fire Dragon

I watch the elves come pouring out of the castle, clapping and cheering until they realize that this fire dragon isn’t me and that their king is riding on the back of a dragon that isn’t his. When she lands, my mother extends her wing and Yhendorn stands, taking my hand. We walk down my mother’s wing as Ivassar, Yhendorn’s advisor, comes out with clothes for both of us. Yhendorn pulls the dress over my head before drawing the leaves and vines off my body. Then he pulls on a pair of pants for himself. Ivassar hands a second dress to my father then turns to us as Avani and Merethyl land behind us.

Kenna and Yhendorns story was a long time coming, and it was everything I could’ve hoped it’d be! Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book - although every story by Cooper is truly a great read. So excited for what’s to come! As always, author - amazing job! :)

Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

he asked. I counted the swans in my head. I could feel my heart slightly breaking for him. He came here—in this little piece of heaven—and he didn’t even see the magnificent view before him, and the wonderful creatures that played in front of him. “Six,” I replied. He nodded slightly. “Did you know what they are?”

Beautiful love story, one of the most unique plots I’ve read so far with. Very touching & emotional but still realistic. Also it’s rare plotpoint that Hero & heroine are each other’s firsts. Technically well-written - no grammatical errors! Wish there were more Hero’s POV, but loved it anyway.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.

The Swan Dance

The Swan Dance

There he was, my little boy, kneeling in the corner, his face streaked with bright red handprints. Across the room, Michael cradled Janine’s daughter, Nina Carter, in his arms, comforting her with a tenderness I had never once seen from him. The moment he noticed me, his brows snapped together in fury. "How the heck are you raising this child? He has no manners! If he doesn’t kneel for twelve hours straight, he’s not allowed to get up!" I rushed forward, wrapping my arms tightly around Ryder. His small hands clutched at my clothes, his eyes brimming with tears.

Dragon's Breath (Book One)

Dragon's Breath (Book One)

He did not even like humans until recent years. I storm through the corridor, the earthen walls cold and unwelcoming. Making my way to a large ledge leading out, I stand in the windy glory of the Perilous Horde territory. The sky, a dark ocean of black, does much to abate my growing irritation as I strip, peeling off my leather garments. The cool air licks at my skin and a shiver runs through me as it plays with my hair in teasing pulls. Without a moment to lose, I jump off the ledge, my body becoming consumed in a cloud of my poison elemental. Thick violet fog shrouds my figure as I faze mid-fall. My wings are the first to burst through the fog. As the winds push under them, I take flight l

The Exiled Dragon

The Exiled Dragon

As much as I wanted to beat Creed on this flight, he, as well as many others, proved that still wasn’t a great flyer. With all the dragons in the sky, they set up themselves in small groups, taking turns taking the headwind while others rode in their streams. It was fun to watch and see how similar they were to birds flying south for the winter. Creed flew behind me, nipping at my talons. Laughing, I dipped lower to brush the underside of my belly with the tops of the trees. Creed had always been a serious dragon, but he was certainly growing into a person he should have always been, playful, happy, and full of life. We were rubbing off on each other. I was taking his fierceness a day at a t

I love Veronica’s all books but Creed is so, so special! I also love that there is no unnecessary cheating, tragedy, horror but is exciting, detailed, vibrant and show a lot of kindness and love between the characters. The villains always got what they deserve and the love always win!
