Damon I woke up sweating heavily with my boy 's heart racing heavily. I couldn't help but gasp silently as I tried to calm myself down from all that was happening. I felt myself wanting to run from myself, and that was because I have a dream. I have a very bad dream about what was going on. I have a very had a very bad dream, and in the dream I saw a lady hovering over me while saying I was her mate. It was like I was traumatized by the dream and I felt my body wavering to the thought of that.

I was ready to feel this pain in my chest. “I don’t even know what changed—the accident, the coma. Sometimes I feel like myself; most times I don’t.” I pondered aloud. “Why am I having such dreams?” My gaze shifted to her. “It sounds like you’ve been through a lot, and these experiences have left you feeling uncertain about yourself and your dreams. The accident and coma could have had a profound impact on your thoughts and emotions. Dreams often reflect our subconscious mind-processing experiences and emotions. Would you be open to exploring these dreams further? They could provide insights into how you’re processing everything that’s happened.” Her soothing voice explained.

I look at Darius. "In this universe, our past is shown to us in the form of dreams. Dreams are sometimes what our heart holds in it. Our mind might forget, but our heart holds the emotions and show us in the form of dreams" he replies. "My dreams are not exactly dreams. Are they" I direct my question towards Darius. "No" he replies carefully. "How should I feel about all this" I ask him unable to process anything on my own. My head is a jumbled mess. The more I think, the heavier it feels. I feel like it might explode any second now.

They came often enough to feel like memories but remained too fragmented to understand. A battlefield drenched in blood. A woman dressed in black standing amid destruction. Four figures surrounding her, their faces blurred beyond recognition. Every dream carried the same overwhelming emotions—grief, rage, heartbreak, and something heavier than all of them combined. Loss. I never understood why those dreams affected me so deeply, but every time I woke from them, my chest felt tight, as though I had forgotten something vital. Or someone.

~ASHTON~ I woke suddenly, my body drenched in sweat, feeling a feverish heat coursing through me. Falling into a deep, dark sea. The water is cold and heavy, and I can’t breathe. I’m drowning.” I shivered, even remembering the feeling. “And other times,” I continued, “I’m locked in a room. A small, dark room. There are no windows, no doors. Just… darkness. I can’t escape.”

Kris laid in bed, eyes wide, staring at the ceiling. She never experienced that type of dream before. It felt so real. Reaching mindlessly to the nightstand, she grabbed her vape, taking a long drag and holding it in. She exhaled, letting her shoulders drop and her eyes close. She thought about the events as they played out in her dream. She was giving a tattoo. It was a beautiful design she made specifically for Elena. They kept locking eyes, making it too hard for her to concentrate.
