Thomas unbuttons the top button of his shirt to get some air. They stood in the middle of the room staring into each other’s eyes trying to push into each other’s minds. The candle flames became higher, and when he saw the look in her eyes, he could tell as her thoughts seemed to have changed. For some reason, she had remembered her dream from last night. A warm flush overcame her as she pushed into his mind, bringing her hot and steamy dreams with her. That took them down a whole other road. She had been having this dream ever since they had met. When it came to controlling it, that had been rather difficult lately.

I reached out, desperately trying to hold on, but the dream slipped through my fingers like grains of sand. And then, I awoke. I found myself back in the sterile confines of the hospital room, the beeping of machines echoing in my ears. But within me, I carried the memory of that vivid dream, the profound connection I had made with my mother. It was a dream that would forever be etched in my heart, a reminder of the strength and love that resided within me, even in the face of adversity.

It helps me channel my inner peace and keeps my mind away from the demons. I have dreams to put it lightly. They are mostly nightmares though. I dream of things and events that I cannot really understand. They are just dreams after all, I tell myself most times. But why do they feel so real and close to touch? Why does it seem as though they haopened? Happened to me, but like a long time ago. Who are these people I keep seeing? They seem like they love me. Then it feels like they want to strangle me as well.

Telling myself I fell asleep in a park was way better than saying than trying to explain how I got here. “ Yes, that's what it is! It's a dream!” I said aloud, convincing myself.

We just try to keep moving along, hoping our next big mistake won’t destroy whatever little bit we still have left. But dreams have a different kind of meaning to humans. They mean a lot, and are deeply personal to those involved. Dreams mean freedom; they give you a glimpse of the future and the truth. A dream can reveal a possibility of what might be. The dreamer is able to see the future with clarity, but it’s far less clear than what the actual event actually looks like. And that’s why, even though he tried hard to avoid dreaming as much as possible, sometimes, he found himself dreaming about the same exact thing over and over again. I’m not sure if this is all in my head. My dreams feel happy. And once I wake up, I feel like something is missing from my reality. It feels dangerous to want my dreams more than my real life. I’m fantasizing about my fantasy life, my dream world that I keep visiting. Lately I seem to be taken to the same place each night. One with wolves, lakes, and trees. Forests so dense they should be spooky but they are full of comfort. Night skies and full moons. The scent of pine and oak. The feel of crisp air on my skin.

I know I have to move forward, let them in, open myself to the mate bond, but I just don’t know how to let go. I sleep on the floor, not having the will to move to my bed. My dreams are filled with two faces, both looking the same; Green and Blue eyes follow me wherever I go in my dreams, I feel hot and cold, needy, and angry. I hear growls, the sound of paws pounding in the dirt, clothes ripping, and a long deep howl. There is cinnamon and Vanilla swirling together, consuming the air all around me.

His dreams became a kaleidoscope of sensations, a swirling blend of pleasure and unease. In the dream realm, he found himself in a dimly lit chamber, the air thick with an intoxicating scent.
