The dream where I die after an arrow is shot into my chest by a person I cannot see. In this dream, I am killed by someone who I feel this insane love for. I cannot see their face but their voice sounds familiar. I know exactly who they are in the dream, I yell out their name as the arrow pierces my heart but then once I wake up, I forget the name I yet even though the sense of betrayal stays with me all day like a dark gloomy cloud that I cannot shake off. However, she replied, "I'm scared that she's dead." Grayson was surprised. "Who?" Belle shook her head. "I don't know." "Did you have a nightmare?" he asked. Belle didn't budge. She knew it was a dream, but it felt so real. Lena was the only one she recognized out of everyone in her dream. Even though she didn't know who the mother and daughter duo in her dream was, she still didn't want them to die. In her nightmare, she stared helplessly as the woman's throat was slit, causing her to die from excessive bleeding. Belle's heart clenched at the sight.

And when the image was firmly established in her mind, she rose from her place and shouted with innocent childlike enthusiasm: "It was a dream, it was all a dream, no, but a long and exhausting nightmare, I'm forgetful and there are none of those horrible creatures I've seen, no vampires or that disgusting creature and I'm not going to be something else." My mother was there too, draped over the opposite side of the mattress, her face buried deeply in her hands as if she could shut out the reality of the monitors ticking away. Near dawn, physical exhaustion finally claimed me, dragging my mind down into a dark, suffocating nightmare. In the dream, I was standing on a barren, fog-covered coastline, watching Elena being pulled into a terrible, swirling abyss. She was reaching out for me, screaming my name over the roar of the waves, but my limbs were completely paralyzed. The horror of the dream even seemed to affect the unborn twins, their small shadows fading away into the black water as I screamed out in useless panic.

Thinking everything again I understood everything and asked Mom one last question. “You are a dream right?” I asked between sobbing and got up on my own. There is no way my mother is alive in the present. I’m just dreaming. She stood up and smiled with a sad face. “Unfortunately baby, you realized that way too fast. Yes I’m your dream. I wanted to meet you once because we both were missing each other. Now that we have met, I will have to disappear dear. Go and have a happy life with your partner. Bye...” She said disappearing into thin air.

It pierced through her mother’s chest whose eyes widened. Zheira laughed, a cruel laugh. The vibration of her own voice was enough to awaken her, sweats soaking her shaking body. She could still hear her laughter clearly, could still see her dying mother, and though it was a dream, she found herself screaming, feeling the grief and madness overtaking her consciousness.
