I opened the car door and got in, immediately seeing Natasha at the front seat and Jackson sitting at the back. "Hey, girlie." Tasha said while reapplying her makeup. I responded with a light laugh while shaking my head at her attempt to fix her hair with the way Bryson was driving. Tasha is a ginger haired girl with slight freckles scattered from cheek to cheek. She is also a junior like me. Natasha is a tall girl, with a model like body I would kill for. Tonight she was putting on a pink tight top, a short leather skirt and heeled boots like me too, which made her taller than she already is.

The car screeching to a halt, tires skipping on the wet pavement stopping just inches from me. I see her through windshield, eyes wide. Curiosity about the creature standing in front of her she opens the car door “Lady, are you crazy? Get back in the car!”, I say to myself. She pauses with a puzzled look on her face. Her long auburn hair starting to dampen in the rain. Did she hear me? She couldn’t have. There is something familiar about her. I’ve seen her before, younger, as a child in one of my visions.

I stared at it. My jaw tightened. “Who is this?” I muttered under my breath. No reply. I looked up at the sedan. Still nothing. But now I wasn’t guessing anymore. I crossed the street, not toward the building, but toward the car. Every step felt louder than it should’ve. Halfway there, the driver’s side door cracked open just slightly. Not enough for me to see a face. But enough to know I had been seen first. My phone buzzed again. Dre.

Now, she wasn't in any rush at all. [I changed my mind. You don't have to get to me by tonight.] [Got it.] By now, Halsey had arrived at the Royale Residences parking lot. After receiving Wendy's call, she had driven over as quickly as she could. She slipped her phone into her bag, about to head inside. Just then, a loud honk echoed. A sleek Porsche sports car zoomed by. Halsey turned her head, and the car window rolled down. She saw two familiar faces—it was Gilbert and Sienna.

What happened in these missing years? “You seem to be in a fix.” Halsey is startled and turns to find a pretty woman with long, black hair and an arrogant look. She recognizes the woman from a TV show. “You’re Jamie Snyder,” Halsey guesses. “The leading lady of the Mistress Diaries!” “I am,” Jamie says as she washes her hands. “And you’re that fainting girl from Calypso.” “Oh, you saw that.” Halsey is very embarrassed to think that a famous person like Ms. Snyder saw her faint like that!
