They wrote her struggles, her support, her acts as a king to protect me, the love we shared and finally, her departure to the land beyond the five Kingdoms. Lady Waina didn't want to complete the book that way. She said she knew Frost will come back and that will be the ending of the book. Which was why it was till incomplete. The book has one copy which was with me. I'd read it multiple of times to the point that the papers were starting to get worn out. When Lady Waina took her last breath, she'd trusted the finality of the book to Victor and Mirra. "I wonder when I'd get to finish that book." Victor commented as he looked at it.

“My first book is completed as far as I am concerned.” “Not to the fans. It all kept everyone hanging. Did they meet again? Did Aliana and Winston finally get back in each other arms? What is Winston’s side of the story? Is he really a cold hearted man that just left without a good reason?” “Let your imagination run wide and assume whatever ending you deem right. Personally that book for me is already finished. I can’t think of an alternate ending to it. It’s just over, some things are just better off not being said or for this matter written.” I explained firmly.

"They always arrive before the ending." The notebook on the desk suddenly burst open. Words raced across every page. Not one story. Thousands. Millions. Each page showed a different ending. In one... All the love, hate, crimes, and judgments of the past had faded like smoke, stirring nothing within me. All that had gone rested in the deep sea and on the execution ground. The journey ahead was long, and I walked with only the stars.

It was warmer, shielded from wind, and they made camp in the aisle, Elena beside Damon, Donovan near the back. "You used to read, right?" Damon asked once they'd settled. He offered the weather-stained *Watership Down*, the pages worn transparent. She accepted, tracing the text with her finger. "I read this when I was a kid. Back when there were libraries, and lights that always turned on." "What happened at the end?" Damon asked. "I never finished it." Elena laughed into the pages. "They make it to the new home. But even then, they’re always afraid the world will come for them."
