The Devil's Dust

The Devil's Dust

My nerves pick up a cold sensation running through my body over the heat when a new person-Dustin-wraps a wet blanket around me. I’m literally burning in hell, a hell a signed up for. You never know the shit you get yourself into until at the climax of it all. Through my silent screams, I realise how at this very point there’s no going back. I played with the dust, now my lungs are as fragile as a raw egg. “Ria! Ria, stay with me,” Devlin’s voice becomes more lucid. “You need to go back and stop him, brother,” says Dustin, panic trailing in his voice.

Dawn

Dawn

The Golden Square was quiet, but the atmosphere was tense and gloomy, not the serene atmosphere that should be brought by the quietness. And at the middle of the Golden Square, two creatures were standing in front of each other, looking at each other in pure greed. Once this fight ends, a king will be born. And only one king can exist within same place. Only the qualified shall remain, and will be the king of the creatures of the night. With a growl, the two lunged at each other with sharp nails, lashing each other with outmost power. Dust flew everywhere they go, yet it didn't stopped them from tearing each other's skin.

Arla: White Wolf, White Witch

Arla: White Wolf, White Witch

The three of them visibly relaxed and continued along the forest path, moving quicker as they could now simply follow Dune’s scent. The forest thinned, and Arla could see torches in the distance, the small flames coming from them providing the first bit of light she’d seen since they left the car. They reached a small circular clearing and saw Dune sitting on his haunches, keeping his distance from the four people in front of him.

I read this book in a few days. This was one of the few books that had a great storyline that flowed effortlessly. Minimal if any grammar errors and a captivating group of characters. I would definitely read another book by this author! Can we get a book 2 about Drew and any updates on Arla and clan?

Dovydas reassures me with a bright smile. "I will begin preparations for your departure, so please be ready. You should know, Eleonora, that the lands of the Horde of Fates is covered in snow; they have blizzards almost daily. These lands are very dangerous. Be sure your mate is well-protected; humans are very weak against the cold," Norveig informs me with a face of indifference.

Dark Luna Rising

Dark Luna Rising

The night howled with the promise of war. Diego’s boots pressed into the damp earth as he moved through the underbrush, his senses sharpened by the pulse of approaching violence. The air carried the metallic scent of sharpened steel, the musk of Lycans shifting into their true forms. In the distance, beyond the hills that sloped toward Blackthorn’s walls, torchlight flickered—a fortress on the brink of being torn apart.

Triple Temptations: Mated To The Hot Triad Kings

"That sounds fascinating, Dexter. Da Vinci's life was truly remarkable." Phoenix chortles. "As for me, I'm drawn to science fiction and fantasy. 'Dune' by Frank Herbert is a novel I revisit often. The intricate world-building and philosophical themes make it a compelling read." Astrid swirls her drink thoughtfully. "Favorite hobbies or pastimes?" "I'm all for that. Star, why don't you kick us off again?" Astrid chuckles. "Well, I love painting. It's my way of unwinding and expressing myself creatively."

Book 1: Luna Returns

If Karen Milburn could do anything for her parents and kids, then Alpha Ramore could do anything for the forest. That forest was his twenty years of toil, hard work, and sweat. To break him apart, she was to ruin everything that was dear to him, the exact way he broke her. She had promised herself not to rest until all the forest turns to ashes, which would be easy enough to be carried away by the wind. She believed it would be a matter of time before the news spread throughout the entire pack. Soon enough, everyone will be crowded there, moaning at the destruction of the forest, which meant the world to every member of the pack. She wanted to demean Alpha Ramore, and the best way would be t

My Accidental Billionaire Husband

My Accidental Billionaire Husband

Sand and heat and something older underneath, the smell of a landscape that had been here before the city and would be here after and did not particularly care about either. The dunes spread in every direction. The city was completely invisible. The sky was doing what desert skies did at this hour, building toward something, the light thickening and warming, the colour of everything shifting through amber toward a gold that had no equivalent in a city. "Come on," Julian said. He started walking up the face of the nearest dune. I looked at him, at the dune, at my sandals, which were not designed for this. I took them off and walked up after him in bare feet, which turned out to be the correct

Doing me to the fullest

Chapter 101: The Sands of Silence The Sahara was one of the few places on Earth where the Sovereign Substrate struggled to maintain a foothold. The shifting dunes and extreme thermal fluctuations created a natural "Signal Noise" that even Caspian’s global mind found difficult to penetrate. Here, the world felt old, indifferent, and stubbornly analog. Jade stood on the ramp of a cloaked transport, looking out over the Great Sand Sea. She wasn't accompanied by a legion of "Updated" soldiers. To infiltrate a "Null-Fortress," she needed people who didn't exist in the digital world.

Enter the Shadows

Enter the Shadows

~ Daniel and the others stood facing what looked like a massive dune. It stretched in either direction as far as their eyes could see. It was hundreds of feet tall, with a single path leading through to the valley on the opposite side. Nothing about it looked naturally made. Out in the desert, the sun was unforgiving. Gusty winds whipped the fine shards of sand against them. They wore scarves around their faces, goggles to protect their eyes. Every inch of them covered to stay safe from the elements. The downside to wearing protective clothing was feeling like a potato in aluminum foil roasting over an open grill. Through the soles of his shoes, Daniel could feel the heat from the desert flo

Pertanyaan yang Sering Diajukan

Reading 'Dune' is like diving into a vast desert of political intrigue, ecological wonder, and spiritual depth. Frank Herbert’s masterpiece isn’t just sci-fi—it’s a layered epic that demands attention. Start by immersing yourself in the world-building; the glossary at the back is your best friend for untangling terms like 'Bene Gesserit' or 'Kwisatz Haderach.' Don’t rush. Let the themes of power, survival, and destiny simmer. The first 100 pages can feel dense, but once you grasp the factions and their motives, the story unfolds like a sandworm rising from the dunes.

Pay special attention to Paul Atreides’ journey. His transformation from noble heir to messianic figure is the heart of the book. Herbert’s prose is deliberate, almost poetic in its foreshadowing. If you’re overwhelmed, try audiobooks—some performances capture the grandeur perfectly. And don’t skip the appendices! They’re packed with lore that enriches the experience. 'Dune' rewards patience; treat it like a fine spice, and savor each grain of detail.
