They sounded like defiance. The Alpha’s mate shall betray him. His Luna shall be his downfall. The prophecy rang in my brain lately. Maybe they were right. Maybe she was my ruin. But I would rather be ruined by her than live a lifetime built on fear. Onyx pawed the ground, impatient. I tightened my grip on the reins. The first drop of rain hit my face; cold and clean.

Monroe neither denied nor confirmed her question, which irritated Clayton even more. “Earn her trust, Alpha,” Monroe only then said firmly. “You make that your topmost priority right now. Damon POV “You brought her here?” Maela shot to her feet, chair scraping across stone. Her dark braid snapped over her shoulder like a whip. “A royal-blooded reject? That’s what you dragged into our camp like a stray?” “She’s not a stray,” I growled, stepping into the circle of firelight. “She’s the prophecy.” Gasps rippled around the table like a sudden wind. Even Riven blinked, his calm facade cracking. Kael just exhaled sharply and muttered, “Finally.”

Oh how I love his embrace. " Do you need anything else?" I asked Loranda and she said she didn't. We stepped outside and Damon asked for her to be transferred to another room and well taken care of and then we went to our room. I know he was itching to ask me what happened but didn't want to till we were well settled. "So what happened between you both?" He asked and I spilled out every thing I knew. He seemed to have been shocked when I mentioned the alpha king and the prophecy but it didn't seem as if he was hearing about it for the first time. Did he know something about all of this?

The battle for their freedom was far from over. The room vibrated with a sudden, overwhelming energy. Elara and Darius exchanged a frantic glance, instinctively moving closer to each other. The ground beneath them trembled, and a series of ancient runes embedded in the temple floor began to glow ominously. The light from the runes spiraled upwards, forming a vortex of shimmering energy in the center of the chamber. From the heart of this vortex, a voice boomed, echoing off the stone walls. The taller Elder stated,“The prophecy foretells of an omega whose soul shines brighter than the sun and whose heart is purer than the first snowfall. This chosen one will bring balance to the warring packs and unite the alpha and omega clans, ushering in a golden era of peace and prosperity.” I frowned, seeking clarity. "So, is this prophecy myth or reality?" The shorter elder's expression turned stern. "Ignorance makes a man foolish and blinds him from what's before him." Before I could respond, the two elders stood up and left, leaving us stranded. I wanted to protest, but the younger mage sat beside us, his friendly tone a welcome change. "What questions do you have? I'll answer," he offe
