Dungeon Books Novels & Stories

I stopped at the library door and smiled to myself. ‘Books are better than people. Books don’t hate on you for something you didn’t do.’ I pushed the door open and breathed in the wonderful smell of books. ‘Paradise.’ I strolled to the shelves and scanned through the books, reading their names off their spines. ‘It seems Dante wasn’t joking when he said half of his library was filled horrors.’ A book caught my eye, and I pulled it from the others. “Bone and Souls by B. Brian.” I read the name aloud and skimmed through the description behind it. “This seems interesting.”

The air is still and quiet, filled with secrets waiting to be uncovered. I select another volume and add it to my ever-growing pile. The worn leather spines creak as I pile another stack of books into my arms. Their dusty pages call to me, begging to be opened and explored. I hoisted the stack of books higher in my arms, struggling to keep them balanced. There must have been at least two dozen volumes weighing down my arms, ranging from gothic horror to historical romances, all consists of something dark.

Dawn replied, “I am still reading give me sometime.” Ashley gave her a nod and then moved back giving Dawn the time to read and understand. During that time she looked around and searched through some others books, hoping that she can find somethings. Most of the time the tast to handle the booms was given to the council. Books were actually written by the council. Be it the history of the werewolves and the vampires or any other species. Since the council served as the center for everything and everyone. As she looked around in hopes of finding something she looked at a book that said, “Diana.”

He heads to the mall’s food court area to unpack the items and check out the plots as well. The series is a medley of genre set in a dystopic time. He is amazed at the condition of the books, they feel… brand new? He takes his time to admire and study their condition for almost a hundred times. As he grabs the orange books, he feels the hard cover and runs his hand on the embossed title – The Darkest Minds.

While walking she told me, “I heard you ask Vandross why your book is called relic right? “Your book is possessed by our Ancestors and passed by or sometimes stolen. Relics in Zennery are not just books. There are many kinds of Relics. The Battle Relics which consist of swords, armor and shield. The Enchantment Relics the same as your book where spells are written and the Special Relics this was said to be unknown. I wonder were you get that notebook.” “I really don’t know but all I know is that this notebook was with me the moment I was born.” Miss Minerva was still curious about me and asked what is the name of the book. and I told her it was “Demonic Relic” the moment I told her the name

Cobalt gestured her hand at the library section as she was already walking toward it. Matthew followed her. There were three shelves that had two sides and were filled with books regarding various topics, or at least one shelf was. That shelf had books regarding magic, medicine, religion, biology, chemistry, and other medical topics. While the other two shelves were filled with novels, comics, and such. “Do you read entertainment books? I’ve heard that people from your realm like them very much.” “I used to, but I haven’t ever since the incident a year ago. There were so many of them that it’s hard to find a new and fresh plot.” Matthew answered while looking at the titles on books’ spine. T

Thanks to her insomnia and bad dreams she had ended up in this tiny apartment in a suburb. Her apartment had a bedroom with a small balcony and a kitchen with no dining area. Thankfully it had a largish living room. She had converted a part of the living room into a gym with a training bench, some weights, her kickboxing practice material and a stationary cycle. The other side of the living room had a desk. The adjoining wall was lined with her favourite books from literature and law. In the middle of the room, there was a couch which she hardly used. She didn't have any friends or visitors. Sana, her only friend, was happily married and lived in Mumbai.

The woman climbed a short ladder and began pulling down a few books. “These should help,” she said, setting five large, dusty tomes on a nearby table. “Sorry about the condition they’re ancient. Let me know if you need anything.” “Thank you,” Anna said as the woman walked away. Rhea and Anna sat cross-legged on the floor beside the table, surrounded by the stack of heavy books. Their covers were worn, their spines cracked, and the pages yellowed with time. Each had a unique title: 'Tales of the Mystical Creatures', 'Powers', 'Hidden Behind the Voice', and two others with faded letters too difficult to read.

Still I didn't feel anything. With a deep sigh, I looked back at the mess. At least, I'd have my hands full today and not be bored out of my mind. That wasn't true though. Monotony hadn't been accompanying me since Nola bought me those books. They were my salvation, my preferred ally and the only things keeping me sane apart from their actual owner. As long as I had books, I could pass my days anywhere, anytime, anyhow. Even in that stupid dungeon of his.

"'Vigorous Stele Opener', 'Tiger Whistling Boxing', 'Rapid-Cross Sword', 'Windward Chopping', 'Dragon Roaring Spearmanship', 'Stunning Steps', 'Base-Cultivating Secret'..." Ding Hao glanced over and saw the names of these books. They were all books on magic skills. Ding Hao suddenly had a dazzling illusion. There were real deal secret books, lying everywhere on the first floor of the "pagoda library". Like a sea or a mountain of books, Ding Hao was dazzled and immediately felt like he was Granny Liu in a palatial mansion.
