It pulsed like breath. From the darkness, Ellie Carson stepped forward. Her clothes were torn, her skin streaked with ash, her braid half undone — but her shoulders squared as though she bore the weight of the world. In her right hand she held the Blade of Bellerophon, its surface alive with runes that pulsed softly, resonating with every beat of her heart. Behind her came Cerebus. Scarred. Bloodied. Noble. Alpha’s eyes glowed with grim steadiness. Beta’s ears flicked, always listening. Gamma bared his teeth to the wind, snapping at the air like it mocked him. Luther screamed out, rubbing his head in irritation. “We don’t have keys?” Cassius shouted nervously. “Just take fucking them…” suddenly Luther’s eyes caught the blueprint's box and he quickly rummaged through it. “Fuck yes!” He grabbed the keys and rushed to the basement. Noelle, Winnie and Cassius are waiting for them. Luther was entering the basement when a fired wooden roof fell just in front of him. He dodged and jumped back gasping for breath as his heart accelerated.

Carl smirked as he took off his jacket, showing off his bare chest and studded muscles which were filled with various tattoo designs. . Amanda smirked. The mere sight of it turned her on. “Aren't you my naughty kitten?” Carl mumbled as he flung the jacket to the corner of the room. Adrian moved backwards so his body could come in contact with the wall. Amanda shifted on the bed, her back resting on the pillow with her heart rising and falling in a gentle rhythm. The bed sagged and the mattress dipped as Carl climbed onto it, crawling towards Amanda with arousal in his eyes.

“Yeah, that’s Logan Carter.” There was a round of Oh's and ahs from the group at the window. I heard my phone buzz on the table with a notification. I closed my laptop down and grabbed my things. A lot of the office stayed at the window watching as I exited. I must admit they were correct; he looked exceptional. He was wearing dark jeans, a crisp white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. He was leaning against the bonnet of a car I didn’t recognise.
