They made her a pillow punching bag; they slapped the pillows they’re carrying. So she had no choice but to get up. “Hey! Can’t you see? I moved toward the bar, pouring myself a glass of chilled water I didn't want, just to give my hands something to do. My heart, traitorous and frantic, began a jagged rhythm against my ribs.
