A Love Misgiven

A Love Misgiven

"Sure, I'll do whatever my wife says." Edward, on the other hand, was rooted to the spot. His face turned beet red with rage. Jack taunted him. "Edward, are you going to chase her?" Snapping out of it, Edward's eyes blazed as he came after me. "Jennifer, you're my wife. You can't just walk away with him." Chloe was right on his heels as she begged, "Edward, you can't dump me. You promised we'd get married."

Love me, Mr. President

Love me, Mr. President

Edward smiled mysteriously as his eyes swept over Nicholas's cold face. "Let me introduce to you all my wife, Clarice Savas." "What? Your wife?" Mary had a face full of disbelief. "When did this happen? We didn't even know, and besides, aren't you Nicholas's housekeeper?" At this moment, she basically confirmed that Clarice was housekeeper Roberts, and hearing Mary's words, Edward looked at her with curiosity. "Oh? Is that so? Are you my nephew's housekeeper?"

The wife he left behind

The wife he left behind

Just tell me the truth, whatever it is. She thought about the woman in the photo on the bed and breakfast website. Grey hair, arms crossed, a smile that had learned not to expect too much. A woman who had built a life out of giving other people somewhere to land, while nobody had ever come back to tell her she had a place to land too. Cloe typed slowly, choosing every word. My name is Cloe Harlow. I’m married to Mac Harlow, whose mother is Eleanor. Eleanor’s father took a daughter with him when he left the country, decades ago. We believe that daughter was you.

Gen YA
The storyline is good but I hope the author should refrain from so many redundant repetitive words, dialogues, side thoughts, actions of the characters, which are becoming an annoyance, tiresome to read further, just be direct with the story.
Araceli Rocio
Chapter 32 and I cannot stop. A very young boy deciding to find everyone the world forgot, it sounds simple until you’re actually reading it and realising how profound it is. Dave doesn’t feel like a fictional child. He feels completely real. And every chapter ends right, this book is amazing!!!
