Effie And Haymitch Novelas e Histórias

"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Effie, Thea's sister. I didn't know the Chief had a granddaughter." "I just returned today with my men," Ten Ten stated. "Oh, I see." Effie pursed her lips. "Would you excuse me? Terry, would you mind introducing the others while I chat with my sister about something." "Sure," Terry took Ten Ten away to bring to the others, while Effie grabbed my arm and moved away from them. "Thea, do you see what I see?" Effie whispers and eyes on Ten-Ten, who handshakes Seth but gives her a warm hug.

"Don't say anything. Not to Ace, and not Thea. She will destroy the whole country to get to him." "If she doesn't, then I will," Effie states. I can tell how serious she is. Before, she was the sweet and quiet girl I knew who loved to sing and dance, but now, I feel she is a whole other person. "Please," I beg. I plead with her and Logan to give Effie the sense that I don't want any trouble for my son and me. "Ro, just listen to her." Effie stay quiet, closes her eyes, and exhales. She takes my hand and lets out a wry smile. "Okay, I won't say anything."

He cupped my cheek, his warm hand a comforting weight. “God is truly kind,” I whispered, looking into his eyes. “After all the pain, this joy feels like a miracle.” James leaned closer, brushing his thumb along my cheekbone. “Let’s start over, Katniss. Let’s rebuild everything from the ground up. I know there will be challenges—hard ones. But this time…” He paused, his gaze firm and filled with quiet determination. “This time, let’s face them together. Don’t give up on us. Don’t give up on me.”

We heard before my older brother pulled over the car as well as our colleagues, there were also other students left. While we were in the car I was still crying, and this time, I promised myself, never to fall in love again. I was walking so fast that it seemed like I was almost running. Arius was silent as he followed me. When I got to the emergency room, I was struck by Haymitch's bloody condition. "You looked sht." I commented and approach him. He just smiled at me when I got closer. When I saw its condition it was only then that I lost my temper.

~.NOVA.~ Under the moon's watchful gaze, we had on the grass hidden from the tributes we saw earlier. Suddenly, a distant sound reached our ears—a haunting melody that echoed through the night. We exchanged wary glances, recognizing the tune as a signature of the Hunger Games organizers. "It's the anthem," Horia whispered, her voice tinged with dread. "They're showing the fallen tributes." We looked up at the sky. There, illuminated by the moonlight, were the faces of the fallen tributes, their images projected like ghostly apparitions.

Rebecca looked to Elliot and nodded. “He not only told us about the food but also about some of the ways that people were treated in that village. You have to remember that most people have never traveled outside of their village apart from going to the Reaping. We could only know for sure that this was all happening in just this village. We learned of beatings, rape, and even murder.” Elliot finishes this statement with the same look on his face that I had seen on Thomas’s many times. A look of shame.

Xander answered and I frowned. "I will kill you if you claim her physically before she reaches complete maturity," I growled forcefully to Xander and he answered of course, nodding his pink head. Effie reached out to me and squeezed my hand. "Xander and I have already discussed this mother and he's a complete gentleman," she said with sparkling blue eyes like her father's. I lowered my eyelids and looked hard at the couple. I noticed Effie chewing on her bottom lip and furrowed my brow. Effie smiled and I melted, she was such a beautiful young woman.

He asked me but unlike the uncomfortableness I was expecting to feel from that comment, I looked at his face and felt curious. “Mr. Haymitch, can I introduce you to Beatrice and Jane? Beatrice, Jane, this is Michael Haymitch, the head of the council.” Damon said with authority and my eyes widened at that. I was standing in front of the head of the council, their so-called 'King'. I extended my hand and Mr. Haymitch took it, a twinkle appearing in his eyes and a smile formed on his face. He turned my wrist around and saw no mark. “You're a blood bag?” He asked me with furrowed brows and I cringed at that question. “No! She's with me. She's my... She's with me. They both are.” Damon answered a

Effie's and my locker are close, so that we would walk to classes together. Aphrodite Reid, or we call her Effie, she and I became friends since we became partners in our drama class with Mrs. Bloomfield. She was in her P.E uniform because her clothes were drenched. It seems that Paris was out at it again. Everyone in school knows how Paris Blake treated her, and it made my stomach hurt to have a person bully another person who survived a car accident at such a young age.

"Oh, I see you met Effie. Nina, This is Aphrodite, but you call her Effie. Effie, this is Nina Simmons. Like you, she's going to be a trainee." "Nice to meet you, Effie. Let's work hard and are friends," Nina stuck out her hand as she smiled. My spider senses are tingling. I don't know what, but something is amiss here. I shooed that feeling off like a fly and took her hand. "Sure! Nice to meet you, Nina." We both smiled, and I could see that she was friendly and sweet.
