If Book 1 was about discovery—about passion, secrets, and the dangerous thrill of love—then Book 2 is about consequences.

No low-tier scout dared to cross her path. She stopped exactly three inches from my chest plate, her golden eyes boring straight into my tracking arrays. I refused to yield a single inch of territory, my hand resting naturally on the handle of my newly acquired plasma rifle. So it feels as if I am hovering on top of him , though our faces are still very close to each other. I think , I get so lost in his eyes and he does in my own. Some part of me wished that I had fell on him , just so I could feel what it felt to sleep next to him. I watch his eyes flicker to my lips , making me unconsciously run the tip of my tongue across my upper lip. Suddenly , the this comforting feeling between us starts to seem to get a bit heated. A arousal of sexual tension starts to form between the two of us – and if it were not for Britney walking in on us , who knows what we should of done.

Unfortunately the price for it was very high and had ended and destroyed many lives. This is a great place to end book one and perhaps take a breather before I start planning for book two. So far, you have met or 'heard of' (ahem) the major leads, and now book two will be centred on: Daisy, Erden, Kassian, Bryant, the demon, a bit of travelling to different continents with Isaac and more of fierce Vivanna, lol, unfortunately, the bumbling and uncertain Vivanna dies in book one and comes back far more villainous in book two.

Hey everyone! This is the end of Book 2 - His Deadly Mate and the beginning of Book 3 - His Clever Mate. Book 2 left with open storylines on purpose. These will be resolved between books 3 and 4. I hope everyone enjoys and leave me comments. I do love reading them! *winks*

There were two pistols in the safe, some more money and a very important thing for any business - an account book, which included not only numbers, but also a bunch of necessary information.
