Elijah ordered, his voice clipped. I shifted uncomfortably in my dress. Without another glance, Elijah stormed off, his heavy footsteps echoing down the hall. He was angry. Mason and I were left alone. "Why the hell are you dressed like a hooker?" he asked bluntly. I gave him a small, awkward smile. "I want to seduce Elijah and make him mine like old times" I lied to him. Mason rubbed the back of his neck, clearly thinking something over. "Emma, don’t get me wrong, but Elijah is no longer under dark magic. You don’t need to go to such extreme lengths."

I needed to breathe. I noticed that Elijah not only broke curfew once to get here but also twice like it was no big deal when he left. Elijah was a different person than what I knew him to be. How dare he be pointing his finger at me saying I'm the one that is changing. I also didn't know what Elijah meant when he said 'another thing miss Mikaelson…you better believe me or something bad will happen to you. And we wouldn't want that. Especially since the palace had been in an uproar with Orpheus searching for her.
