Oliver waited until they were almost to the refreshment stand before pulling Nate aside and scolding him for his foul mood.
“Either go after Elise Joselyn or don’t,” he said firmly. “Watching you wrestle with your emotions over that woman is near as bad as it was watching you hurt over Lilith. Come on, buddy. You have a beautiful debutante waiting eagerly for you to return. It’s clear she’s crazy for you and is only waiting for you to ask the question. What’s the problem?”
