Chapter 2

"Hello, I'm Elizabeth Lancaster and I'm a freshman too from business department." Elizabeth introduced herself bowing down politely.

"No need to be so formal Elizabeth. How old are you?" Iris asked walking over to Elizabeth with a smile.

"I'm 18."

"Oh wow you're younger to us then. I'm 19 and so is Anya but she's four months younger than me, and you can call me Iris." She said with a sweet smile which helped in calming Elizabeth's nerves.

"Iris." Elizabeth repeated with a tiny smile.

"And call me Anya too. We'll take care of you as our younger sister. We'll call you Eli how about that?" Anya asked as she linked her arm with Elizabeth's.

"Mn." Elizabeth nodded feeling weird but warm from the inside.

For the first time in her life she felt warm. It was werid living with the same gender as hers after living all her life with men but she liked this. She knew she liked being here and was happy with her decision of coming out of home.

Contrary to what she previously believed, it wasn't bad at all living with girls in a dorm. It was nice.

"Let's eat something first then we'll talk." Iris dragged the two women with her and made them help her in the kitchen as she assigned them tasks.

It wasn't a lavish dinner but a warm one and Elizabeth was happy to be included amongst the two who already looked quite close.

"How long have you known each other?" Elizabeth asked as the three sat down in the living area having tea.

"A week. I came here ten days ago and Iris came here seven days ago and now you're here and we're complete." Anya giggled as she sipped her tea.

It was rather amusing to her seeing Elizabeth's ears turn red at any compliments that were thrown towards her.

They never realised that they could become this close at such a short time but it felt like they've been long lost sisters and were reuniting after a lifetime.

A funny, yet nice feeling.

"The one on the left is mine, the center one is Anya's the two doors opposite all of our rooms are the two bathrooms. I hope you're all settled Eli." Iris asked Elizabeth who nodded in response.

"We still have two days left for our classes to start so if you need anything before that we can go out and get the supplies what do you say?" Anya asked Elizabeth wiggling her eyebrows, who nodded with a slight smile as a reply.

Elizabeth was confused with her behaviour around these two.

She felt so comfortable that she showed a bunch of emotions that she never did in her life. Even her elder brother couldn't bring out this much emotion from her. Maybe she'd come out as a changed woman being around these two women with amazing personalities.

It was almost midnight when they parted ways and slept inside their own room making a plan to get out and exercise tomorrow morning, which would also serve as semi touring the campus as roomates.

Elizabeth slept that night content and feeling happy inside. It was a new life that she badly wanted to embrace and hoped for the best to come her way.

It was 5 in the morning and as usual, Elizabeth woke up due to the natural body clock she had that made her wake up at 5 every morning. Even if she didn't have enough sleep but today was different.

She woke up feeling refreshed. Spending a few minutes in the bathroom, she came out wearing her track suits and held her hair in a high ponytail.

When she decided to go wait in the living room for her two roommates to wake up, she was surprised to see them in the living area, already ready and doing light stretches.

"Goodmorning Eli. Hope you had a nice sleep we usually wake up at 5 and we are glad you do too." Anya said as she got up from her stretches and froze with wide eyes twinkling in amusement at the sight.

"What happened?" Elizabeth asked tilting her head in confusion.

"Look at our clothes"

They did and Elizabeth could hear Anya chuckle and looked up to see Iris smiling fondly at them.

The three unconsciously wore the same tracksuit just in different colours. Iris in red with black linings, Anya in green and Elizabeth in white and black.

She let out a small laugh making them gasp at how beautiful it sounded.

Anya wanted to tease her new roommate but decided to put it off for later. There will always be more chances later.

"Let's go shall we? It's the perfect time to workout without disturbance so let's not be any more late." Iris said ushering the two out of the room after they took their necessary items with them.

"What do you mean by perfect time to workout without disturbance Iris?" Elizabeth asked having caught that little detail, making the older woman sigh.

"There is a senior who likes bothering the freshmen."

Iris tried to be polite but Anya clicked her tongue in utter displeasure and looked at Iris. "No need to be polite Iris."

She then turned towards Elizabeth and looked at her seriously.

"That guy's a total walking trashcan loitering around the women's residence to catch freshmen and harass them." She crossed her arms and puffed a breath of air over her bangs.

"If i knew how to fight I'd really like to batter him black and blue into a human slime. He literally gives me creeps."

"A senior from our floor is his cousin and he gives the excuse of visiting her to harass us. A few days ago he harassed a freshman and it was terrible. The poor girl had a panic attack and had to be in the hospital for two days. Ugh! I want to break his nose." Anya looked so pissed and ready to burst anytime.

Elizabeth had a sour face hearing that. She hated men who harass women and was definitely not going to let it go if she was a victim. Uncle would be mad if she let anyone trample over her.

"Don't worry I'll protect you." Elizabeth told them seriously making them smile and chuckle a little.

"It would be nice to see someone fight back though but you're so slender and have such a perfect body Eli how will you take down that piece of rock. He even has a stone faced bodyguard following him. Stupid trash!"

"I have an advantage. I'm flexible and fast." Elizabeth replied and they had to end their conversation when they reached the ground floor.

They hurried out and jogged towards the tracks and saw some students already out running on the tracks.

"Will you go for a run Eli?" Iris asked as she jogged beside Elizabeth noticing how fast the girl was jogging.

"Mn. After this." Elizabeth replied and the two of them jogged faster trying to keep up with her.

Having been trained in military combat, Elizabeth's workout was different from the usual working out methods of the youth.

She didn't know why, but hearing Anya say that if she knew how to fight she'd keep harassers like the senior away from her, Elizabeth felt a need in her to train and teach the two girls.

Maybe she would someday, not now but someday she knew she surely would.
